That will be a good supper ? Wondering where Katie's boyfriend is haven't seen him lately?
Nothing better than fixing food you grew yourself or hunted and preserved your self. Y’all are eating like kings!
I have only grown tomatoes and peppers this year but they have done beautifully. If my Daughter was still with us she would be begging me to make her some fried green tomatoes. She loved them so much. Everything looked delicious and I am glad Matt got his fried green tomatoes.

I agree about your feast! I do like fried green tomatoes! And always cornbread! We don’t have a hunter in the family. I’ve not had a lot of Venison. When I got as growing up we had a neighbor that did have Venison. But she always cooked it rare. I don’t like rare meat.

My dad always had a garden. He passed away in 1991. I haven't had fresh new potatoes since then. Everything looked delicious. ❤

Your efficiency in the kitchen is almost hypnotizing to watch . All the food looks so delicious and makes me hungry . And you have taught your gracious skills to your family too . A wonderful homemaker . Much respect !
What a wonderful supper, i felt like i was right there helping. I don’t know all that fancy cooking but know this type of just good old home cooking, as Matt says, I am fixing to hurt myself. Everything looked so good. I think we really eat our food with our eyes first then dive into the goodness. Tipper, thank you for inviting us to supper and an evening of family and wonderful food. God bless

Your fried green tomatoes look perfect to me, just the perfect amount of breading! Fried to a crispy perfection! I always fry up some yellow squash too! And if I really want to guilt the lilies I make some crackling cornbread. Yumm yumm
Those fried green tomatoes look so good! Perfectly done. Not too much breading.

Such a wonderful demonstration of Southern Appalachian cooking. Those fried green tomatoes looked to be delicious. Thank you for sharing your video. - Tennessee Smoky
That’s a feast for sure. I’m sure everyone enjoyed it.👩🌾👩🍳👍😊 God bless y’all.
I love listening to you and Matt❣️ It feels like listening to my family. We live in central, rural Oklahoma, but we sound a lot alike, when it comes to a southern accent. My parents, both, grew up in rural areas, so many of your words and phrases are familiar to me. My granny used the word Cattywampus all the time. 😅 My maternal grandmother lived in SE rural Oklahoma and raised gardens and canned everything. So, when you talk, garden, can etc. it feels like I’m visiting with family.💞 Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us. It feels like home.🥰
"I'm fixin' to hurt myself"...Hahah!! "Fixin' to..." When I was a little girl, a family moved in across the street and they were from Ohio (I'm in TN). When the lady asked me how old I was, I replied, "I'm fixin' to be nine!" She had never heard anyone talk like that! She laughed about that for years. I had no idea that other people might find those words strange. What a delicious supper!
Tipper/Matt, I love seeing what and how you cook. I'm almost 60 and it reminds me of what my mom and her family in Oklahoma used to cook. It brings back so many memories of my childhood
Nothing better than new potatoes fresh from the garden…and Matt is getting fried green tomatoes for supper.
It sure is a Southern Appalachian feast. Love fried green tomatoes. Looks really good. Have a blessed night.

Dang, what a nice spread. The part of this video when you were washing the new potatoes, I noticed the beautiful bounty of tomatoes you had all washed and layed out on the counter. ❤
How can anyone not love fried green tomatoes? Lol. You girls are purely missing out. You’ve got me inspired that I’m going to go pick me some for supper too.

I love good fried green tomatoes! Sometimes in restaurants, they leave something to be desired, but yours look perfect! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Yum! I love friend green "tamaytas" and these videos! I am 3 generations from TN where my Maternal ancestors come from. Hearing your accent, some of the words, even the way you cook, reminds me of my Grandma. We called her Parents Mammo and Pappo, and Pappo was from TN. Seeing your videos really reminds me of my roots. Thanks for sharing everything.
I love the feast y’all prepared for your supper!! Fried green tomatoes..yummm! And your cornbread..oh my ! Enjoy! God bless and love to all!!! 💕🤗🙏🏻

My mouth is watering. God Bless. Jean❣
That sure is a yummy looking supper! My daughter is the fried green tomato eater in our family. She absolutely loves them. Matt is so funny after he makes his plate and says that he’s fixing to hurt his self. I know this will probably make me sound crazy to y’all but, I have had deer meat every which way you can make it and it still just taste too wild to me so, I don’t eat it but my husband and kids like it. If Matt needs a snack tonight, he will be up getting him some of those fried green tomatoes if him and Austin don’t finish them off first. Hope y’all have a great rest of the week. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida.😎🦩🌞🦩😎
So glad Matt finally got his tomatoes!! 😊
Wonderful supper! I canned beef this past February as we were getting a new beef for the freezer, and we still had leftover beef from the year before. That's the way to go. It will last a long time canned than in the freezer. Plus. it is so easy to heat up and it is SO good and tender. New potatoes are my absolute favorite! Always have potatoes in the house. Such a versatile vegetable. Thanks so much for sharing Tipper!

My grandmother's always used butter because of having homemade butter on hand.. She would melt a little butter and roll them in it and salt and pepper and roast in oven.. OOOHHHHH HOW DELICIOUS IT WAS!!!❤❤

Matt said, you sure that’s all the green tomatoes we need??? I bet he’d of let you fry up that whole row! 😂 Goodness, that meal Looks so delicious! I love your cutting board. One day when Matt retires maybe he can make some cutting boards for us to buy. You could get you a brand made and burn it into the wood. That’s what I was thinking when I was looking at your board while you were cutting.
Fresh vegetables are so good and you can’t beat fried green tomatoes!❤
I am starving watching your feast and what a feast it is. I love, love fried green tomatoes and those potatoes. Oh well I love them anyway you serve them.I wish I was still able to shop and cooknbut am blessed by my youngest son able to cook anything. He loves to cook. My other 2 sons cook certain things only. You might call them their specialtys. You are such a blessing. Thank you. From Georgia
I love fried green tomatoes! And I love new potatoes, drenched in butter. Thanks, for sharing! ❤
Yummy! My husband really wants me to make that cornbread. ♥️ Also, we have a Mast General store here in Columbia, SC 😊 and rivers and a huge lake if any of y'all are interested in fishing. 😉😀 We also have hawks and rocks. 😁🤞
I love fried green tomatoes. I grew up on the West coast, but lived in Mississippi for 2 years. I love the food I was introduced to while i lived there. I grew up learning to cook from my mom and grandma. Some of my favorite meals are recipes from my Dad's mom and my mother.
Every day is a new adventure. We diced and roasted our new Yukon golds in the oven at 450 and they were yummy. We also had Swiss chard from the garden. Harvested the first red tomato and 2 crooked neck squash I grew from seed! Harvesting is a real reward! Thanks for the inspirations!

I love, love, LOVE fried green tomatoes! When I was little my Mom (who was from southern Virginia) would make them and ask me what we should have with them for supper. I would always tell her, "Nothing Mama! Just the tomatoes"! 😃 I still like fried green tomatoes all by themselves today!! Tell Matt leftover fried tomatoes are great for breakfast too! Love me some fried green tomatoes. I cut mine into squares and then dribble a tiny bit of buttermilk over them, toss em around. Add white lily cornmeal mix and a tiny bit of self-rising flour. Toss to make sure they are dry. Fry in a deep cast iron dutch oven til golden brown. They are so delicious and do not absorb so much grease.
Jo Hubbard.. Mom would dig new potatoes. I would scrape them, parboil them then put them in a HOT skillet with bacon grease salted and bake them until really brown…..oh my, oh my…de-licious!!!❤

That wonderful food all looked delicious! I’m not fond of restaurant fried green tomatoes because they always have a thick batter, you fixed them just like mama did…& she fried squash that same way…glad Matt got his fried green tomatoes ❤
You've got to do a video of Matt showing and explaining his woodsman/bushcraft/hunting loadouts in relationship to the terrain/environment of southern Appalachia. PS- Enjoyed the show...!!
Those fried green tomatoes look so good!! The first time I ever heard of & tasted them was on a fied sausage buiscut.
I need a snack when I watch your cooking videos, or else I'd go crazy! That looked so good. I love your cooking, Tipper! I aspire to cook more like y'all in the future. -much love from NJ ~Mary & fam

Wonderful meal. Haven't had new potatoes for 20 years or more. Had fried green tomatoes a couple of years ago. I am thankful for what I have, but that doesn't keep me from remembering other times. Thank you for sharing.
Once Again it's A Fine Looking Meal.. I had never had Fried Green Tomatoes until I was an Adult, but I love them. Canned Dear SO YUMMY!! Fried New Potatoes SO GOOD!! ENJOYED THE VIDEO!!

Your cooking always makes me hungry😊
I LOVE fried green tomatoes and home grown potatoes. YUM!
Looks absolutely wonderful! I love green tomatoes too
Tipper, next year when you plant your potatoes, put a few inches of dirt in your container then your potato seed as your potato grows a few inches add more dirt keep doing this until your container is full, they like a lot of dirt on them.
Nothing any better than green tomatoes…while I am frying I like to make a batter and fry what ever I have in the frig that would be good, like carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, squash, turnips, parsnips. You can use what ever you put on your green tomatoes would be good too…love what you are doing to the potatoes, will try them…you put a lot of love in your cooking.
Nice to see Matt got his fried green tomatoes. That's pretty much how I make them. I didn't do too many tomatoes this year. Odd spring weather so I got a late start. Almost didn't even bother, it was so cold and wet. But do have some Early Girl ripening. Not the best tomato but reliable. Nice to see everyone enjoying fruits of the garden after all that hard work. Hello from very hot Oregon.
Looks like a wonderful family meal!
Mercy what a spread. Tipper you've done it again!
Supper looked great. I've had new potatoes twice and green tomatoes once so far. I don't have a garden ( just spring onions) but am lucky I have many Amish and Mennonite veggie stands nearby with reasonable prices. We've had sweet corn and a mess of green beans and ham that was delish. Also, wanted to say that the zucchini bread recipe in your cookbook is so delicious that I will be using that for my go to recipe from now on. Bless you all! 🙏🙏

I love having my garden right out in the front of my house. I can run out there quick and grab something to add to dinner. :) I need to try to make some fried green tomatoes. I love them but I've never made them myself.
I guess it’s just different climates, but here in Oklahoma, I am getting a lot of ripe cucumbers, but none of my tomatoes are red yet. I only have 4 plants and all are beefsteaks. My son has lots of cherry tomatoes, though.
Those fried green tomatoes look so good! I love them so much.
A good way for fried green tomatoes cube them up , cubed potatoes and diced onions, add your corn meal, salt and pepper and fry. This is yummy. Just something different..
Your green tomatoes look awesome Mrs. Tipper! You should try them with a sprinkle, or more, of sugar. That's how my Great Grandma from Marshall Co., MS used to serve them. I know it's odd, to most people, but we all loved 'em that way.
🍽️🍈🍅🥔 Perfect video for me while I enjoy eating my fresh foods supper; my selections are from the grocery store, but my imagination enjoyed your tasty garden Tipper!
I love your cooking supper videos
Frying green maters is kinda like frying fish. They're real good if you "double-baptize" em in the egg wash and flour mixture!!😊
My Momma use to when she did not have enough okra she would cut up green tomatoes about the size of the okra batter and fry them together it was good enjoy your videos brings back good memories
Nothing better than that spread on that table!!!! Green tamaters yumm yum give me sum!!!
Dinner looks wonderful! I'm going to have to search for some green tomatoes. My hubby would make fried green tomato sandwiches with butter bread. Come to think of it he could make a sandwich out of most vegetables. That's how he got the boys to eat their veggies when he batchin it.
Always makes me think of the movie.
Hey y'all hope you are well. My Mama used to chop up green tomatoes and fry them with okra that she had put corn meal on. So good!
