I'm an only child raised by a single mother... I have experienced the love given to me by my mother because I am all she has, and she is all I have in this world. Many of our own mothers of our own military lost sons in wars everywhere and recently. They also cannot bury their sons and or daughters because gotten involved in. Wars like Vietnam and the middle east. I served eight years so I have the right to speak. Please show me comments you left for those mothers of this country that lost sons in war just recently!

I'm a 54 year old man and I can hardly see through tears to type this comment. This poor, poor woman. The sound of her crying and expression will stay with me. To witness the murder of her only son, then lift his body and carry him in a barrow before burying him with her own hands. Her sorrow and anguish filled me with instant and uncontrollable emotion. Out of the many reports I have seen of the horrors in Ukraine this one hits hardest. I wish there was a way to help her directly. I hope the team who made this report reached out to her somehow. As impossible as that seems I hope they have. I'm not religious but may your God bless you my dear. May your God bless you.

I'm a 62-year-old and feel the same way. I saw starving children in Biafra on the TV in 1968, the same year I saw Russian troops run over Czechoslovakian advocates for democracy. From a mother who lost her son, I couldn't imagine having to carry my child to his grave and bury him by myself and alone. This is the most heart breaking story I've ever seen in my life. I pray for this woman to find refuge from the immense pain of losing her child during such a horrific turn of events. Those responsible have hard days ahead when their actions catch up with them.

One of my neighbors is a couple who lost their only daughter in their early 40s to a car accident, the loss was so devastating that the mother tried to commit suicide for more than once, eventually they were able to carry on and the mother got pregnant again to another daughter, now they are almost 60 and their daughter is a teenager. According to this clip, this poor Ukrainian woman is just 45, maybe she can get pregnant again, even if she can't, there must be lots of children orphaned by this war, I hope she can adopt one or two and live a happy life in the future. Poor woman, she has suffered enough!

But what this poor woman has suffered is beyond belief - bringing your son home in a wheelbarrow… burying him with her own hands without a coffin…and covering him with a carpet “to stop the dogs getting to him”. it' s fake : if really her son had been killed March 10, by early April when this vid was uploaded, the stench of the rotting corpse would be so hard u couldn' t come close to it as they do without a gas mask.

This conflict could have been totally avoided but NATO just want too keep pushing until it was rubbing shoulders with Russia. NATO have been trying too see how much ground they could gain before the Russian bear woke up and decided enough poking and suffocating. Now Ukraine already a pretty poor country will take years too get itself back on its feet. Europe has too endure increased living costs on fuel as well as providing a life for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians of which some are relatively wealthy but why not take advantage anyway. Russian and western nations (mainly USA) relationship will be at a major low for years too come, this effects the world. Many weapons handed out too civilians in Ukraine will go astray and you can bet some will go too the hands of criminals and on the black market. We do know what we do.....the evidence lies before us. The harsh weather and living a hard life can age someone prematurely, the lady has clearly had a hard life, she probably has no access to nice clothes, cosmetics and a warm home.

I just hope that those who lost their children will take in the children who have lost their parents and give them love and care. I hope they will be able to give each other the support and love they need. I hope that mother who buried her son will take on another child who need someone to help them.

Why do you believe everything so easily? Ukraine said that the Russians fired at the nuclear power plant. This turned out to be a lie. Oh my God….,that poor woman….losing her only son and having to dig a grave and bury him herself…. Can you feel her pain? I can….I lost my son quite recently, but that was to cancer….but the pain is palpable .. I feel it piercing my heart again. And now she is on her own, and the Russians party in the garden. I was shocked on an earlier report seeing them stealing womens underwear and anything they can carry to take back with them. Until that point I’d felt sympathy towards some of the young men sent on just “an exercise “ seemingly innocent of life, but now….civilians in mass graves, girls raped, people just shot for the hell of it…they are Wicked,evil creatures. Surely the BBC have filmed enough to prove numerous War Crimes have been committed that more help should be given to Ukrainians now??

This needs to end. I am crying my etes out when hearing of the poor woman having to bury her son in the backyard rolled in a carpet. Nobody should ever have to go through that.

So terribly sad and my eyes will never forget the atrocities that you all are going thru. My deepest deepest sympathies..

This story brought a tear to my eyes. I suspect I won't be the only person to feel for the woman in the story, as her pain is a human tragedy. The story of Irina is very sad, but good for us to see. It brings us a clear example of how horrible a war can be on civilians. Never forget!
