At the beginning of this conflict, it sounded like the Russian soldiers didn't want to shoot at people who looked like them. We all thought, "oh those poor soldiers are being mislead by their commanders." It seems clear now that they've come to terms with their reluctance and no longer have any qualms about butchering the innocent.

That was not heroic. They had no real choice or chance. That was unnecessary and one of the worst crimes the Russian could have done. First we believed there are young Russians forced to attack Ukraine. So it sounded a good idea to rescue them somehow. Now things have dramatically changed. It is not only a duty to kill Putin, Lawrow, Medwedew and other involved murders to stop and sue this war, also these murdering soldiers shouldn't get any more mercy. Blow them all out, let them bleed. They can never make well again what they started. This Russia is lost. No need rescue them.

I contacted the closest Ukrainian consulate, they got in touch with me and told me while they would have loved my skills I was a bit of advanced age and they were concerned for my health. They were very courteous and honest. I asked how I could help, the young woman I was talking to got quiet for a short period and was choked up and said we love you grandfather, pray for us.

They don’t need prayers. They need the tangible help. Money, helmets, armor, food, boots, and you. At least getting the cowards in Washington to get off their duff and send Russia a hard lesson in what real soldiers with real equipment can do, and show Putin just how delusional he is thinking Russia is even close to “peers” militarily with the rest of the worlds modern militaries.

The east will be Ukraine, so will Crimea.

I met a Ukrainian in New York today. He said that Ukraine can defeat Russia in the war, but it will be very hard to get Putin for the crime. He also said it will be difficult to remove Putin from his office too. Sad!

More and more anti air missiles arriving. It's a question of how much equipment Russia wants to lose. 1/2 their stuff in storage doesn't work, just like their missiles.

According to Transparency lnternational, as of December, 2021 Ukraine ranked 122 out of 180 countries on the "least corrupt" scale. Russia ranked 136th, so it's really comforting to know we're on the side of the "angels" when we're risking nuclear war.

I agree. I served in the USAF from 2000 - 2014 and I'd be willing to pick up and deploy again to help the Ukranians any way I could. This senseless war needs to end.

We can see how brutal is the crime but it is so sad that some powerful countries are just watching it .

Air raid sirens and church bells. During the black plaque and even during the Spanish flu pandemic, people reported how impressive the church bells were. It gives a sickening meaning to ‘For whom the bell tolls’ I hate that this is happening. 😞 This bothers me so much.

Look deeper into WHY we didn't give them the MIGs through Poland. Better to give them mobile anti air systems for now. Also, it's a lot of artillery and cruise missiles. The Isrealis are going to offer their missile shield, and the drones do enough as long as enough ground based anti air is deployed. And stop with the virtue signaling. You shame and you dont know everything. The world is far more complicated than you appear to realize. You do know that the country attacking Ukraine has bio, chemical, cyber, and above all the largest supply of nuclear weapons on Earth. They are a rat backed into a corner right now, and they already threatened tactical nukes. If you were in charge all of Europe would be in flames because of your hair trigger. Stop being an armchair general and admit you dont know the best way to handle this. Or if you want so badly to fight in WW3, go pick up a gun and head to Ukraine.
