It's not your computer. I can run both god ray rtx games and Bethesda games somehow, but Andromeda? Worse than Skyrim with over a thousand mods AND 4K textures.

​@@lorddootinator4332I played Andromeda about 6 months ago with R7 5800X, GTX 1660Ti and 16GB of RAM and had barely any issues somehow. Ship still was laggy but is seems to be so because they had genius idea to use path tracing only there at the time when it wasn't popular yet yhus barely any optimisation. I started to have real issues only by second Saudi Arabia with local Shai-Hulud.

I am pretty sure that the reason the Aliens never "correct" you for your use of "Andromeda" is because everything you are all saying is being translated via sci-fi translator magic robots. I am like 99% sure that is a thing in the mass effect universe. Basically none of the Aliens you meet in any of the mass effect games actually speak English. My headcanon is that Shepard actually speaks Quebecois.

Yes, exept Javik is the only one to not need them and speak your language. The protean are Imperialist but they will bother to learn your language before enslaving you.

While yes its actualy stated in andromeda that their transalators dont work first time u meet a new species which why the ket dont have language transalated till u go to nexus and get your transalator updated

This was around the time I learned that the orginal staff and the 2 FOUNDERS of BioWare left the company because they hated what EA was having them do. And DAMN is it obvious!

Even in light of all the evidence to what should be the contrary, I still had a pretty good time with Andromeda. That said, this video is a masterpiece. Major props to your skills of writing and video editing.

yeah, there's just something about that bioware open world design which focuses on you the player bringing order into a world filled with chaos. same reason i loved DA: Inquisition as well.

My favorite bit is how the Angara, a race that evolved in a completely different universe and doesn't even have the excuse of the progenitors guiding evolution in the galaxy is somehow physically ( Even if not genetically ) sexually compatible with humans. XD

If it was like 30 hours shorter it would have been a great B-Movie type game. The problem is all the traveling between separate maps within the same quest destroys the game's pacing.

Alex Jones: 'Incoherent yelling.' The Archon: Who is this emissary of the Gods? I laughed pretty hard at that one. One of the biggest Missed Opportunities was Colony Management, in that this game has none of that. I don't just want to set them up, I wanted to run them.

Started a new game in Andromeda after Starfield came out, while it’s still definitely my least favorite Mass Effect game it definitely did planetary exploration better than the Todd Squad’s latest slop.

I got this game when it was released.... I didnt have any problems with bugs or the weird playdo faces and was hilarious to see videos and forum posts about it. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, I thought it was pretty and scenic and aside from Peebee (Who I thought was incredibly boring) the characters were interesting. Still, to this day its interesting seeing perspectives of it.

I actually like Ryder, it sucks that the Andromeda side of the Mass Effect universe will just be forgotten.

Funny enough i started with ME Andromeda, don’t think I actually got the platinum for the game but I did complete every mission. Had tons more fun with it than I thought I would. My characters never bugged out either.

The fact that your choice with the Geth didn't matter in Andromeda blows. It would've been cool if a dude quest had two very different versions depending on your choice, or something. You know, something reasonably sized, not like it would change the whole game, but something small would've been nice.

Hot take: I actually want Andromeda 2 to be a thing. Just because the first game failed to meet it's potential doesn't mean it didn't have any. I feel there's enough to springboard off of and even if there was a rocky start, expanding on some of the groundwork that was laid could lead to a good couple games.

This actually makes me want to give andromeda another go. I played it like I play fallout and just dicked around for like 3 hours and when I found nothing the slightest bit interesting because I wanted to ignore the main quest I quit. Probably not really fair.

The gameplay is fine. The gunplay is actually a blast. I just wish everyone would SHUT UP. Drack and Verta were the only two main cast characters that did not make me either want to fall asleep or drill out my ears. That includes Ryder themselves.
