Ben Haggard is the son who truly sounds like Merle. The others have a distinct Haggard sound but nowhere close to Ben. I’m grateful for all the boys though and that they are helping keep their dad’s music alive.

They Are Doing A Very Good Job.

I once drove 2800 miles across the country and never listened to any other singer but Merle. HE was/is the greatest vocalist I have ever known.

My hair on my arms raises when I listen and see the nuances of Marty in this song. God Bless Merle Haggard and his sons, please keep it alive!!

I'm 71, and from NJ. But I just LOVE the old country. The songs were written and sung with such feeling and emotion. Songs that you can sing along with and identify with. I've been in the South since 1967. But my dad introduced me to country in my childhood. Been hooked ever since.

You can hear every memory of his Mother and Father being revisited in his voice as he sings.

Wow! I love listening to The Haggard's sons singing. I can keep on playing this song sung by Marty over and over again. May Their Dad's Soul Rest In Eternal Peace. 🙏🙏🙏

Keeping it real and keeping it going. Great voices just like their dads. Merle will be missed, but not forgotten. I can close my eyes and listen to the three sons sing, and it's like Merle never passed.

One of the best singers I have ever heard. He sings from the heart and I believe from his past experiences.

MARTY CERTAINLY HAS Merles sound . Awesome.

I met him at an 84 lumber party told him I love his dad he said me too!!!! I asked if he wanted a beer and he said I have a Coors light like you are drinking!!!!
