Mark Hall shot dead inside his home by multiple gunmen : A Belfast Story

In a media briefing on Sunday, Superintendent Eamonn Corrigan said: “What we currently know is that two gunmen approached Mark’s family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4.30pm on Saturday December 18. “Mark’s sister, who was returning from some local shops, saw the gunmen approach the house and tried to intervene before a number of shots were fired through the front window, striking and fatally wounding Mark. “A number of family members were present in the room when these shots were fired, all narrowly missing injury.
“As the gunmen made off, a shot was fired at Mark’s sister which passed through her handbag. She’s lucky to be alive today. Mark was taken to hospital and despite the efforts of paramedics he died a short time later as a result of his injuries.” The superintendent added that the PSNI are are “keeping an open mind” around the motive behind Mr Hall’s murder, but believe it to be “a targeted attack”. Mr Hall was a well-known criminal and had previously been charged with extortion alongside former UVF chief Davy Murphy, who was gunned down by the terror gang in 2019 for stealing weapons.

He also edits his videos, yes using snippits of other videos but that's the way it works my friend. It's not a massive operation give him some slack for the good work he has done.

There’s a couple of issues with this report. The first picture of a soldier in N.I. was not taken in 1973, the SA80 gun didn’t exist in the 70’s. And legally you should not have named the victims child, your viewers don’t need to know children’s full names.

It was the SLR in the 70s carried by the the UK army and I know what u mean about not naming the victims children, but the people of the north of Ireland named many children's names killed by the British army....why not expose attrocities? Every combatants in ni conflict is guilty of it but the British government controlled the media so could write what they wanted, meanwhile nationalist political leaders were censored and gagged and also used an actors voice when on national news....only in the 90s! The minority nationalist people where discriminated against and their identity smothered!
Went to his mother's house and picked him out thru the front window before shooting and the police think it was a 'targeted attack' You can see why they felt they had something to offer when they first joined the force with astute instinct of that calibre

@@geraldfahey2681 Provisional IRA is the main force that fought the war for 30 years and still exists but in the shadows, all the other IRAs are basically splinter groups who opposed the Good Friday Agreement in 1998; that's the extremely simplistic short answer, the reality is much more complex.
