You missed the fact that the death guards first captain is the one who betrayed the legion by killing all the astropaths of the fleet and saying to his primarch that he could guide them through the warp. This was a trap and the fleet was stranded in the warp and assaulted by nurgle, typhon was renamed typhus and rewarded with the same plauge that forced the legion to dedicate itself to nurgle to spare them from death from the plauge that they carry

In 40k Blind Grenades are a flashbang that also throws out Chaff and Infrared Bafflers, so it's like a combination flashbang, smokebomb, Flare, and Chaff. They're pretty nutty, I definitely wouldn't want to breathe whatever the hell comes out of them though. The Sergeant in Astartes throws one to break contact with the Renegade Multilaser. The blood ravens have a version that's basically an area effect taser as well.

A loyal death guard tried cutting his arm off when he was cut with a plague knife it skill infected him. He then became a Deamon fly.

I like to think those Chaos cultists were from worlds close to the eye of terror and all they've seen are Chaos Space Marines with the "best" Chaos has to offer. They're cannon fodder who have never seen the Imperium and judging by how they die like normal men, Chaos influenced them with lies to make them think they're stronger, better than they were.

@@gopnik9967 Chaos Astartes pretty much wait for them to die, give the enemy some hope in winning (hope so blinding that they don't realise just how underprepared/trained those cultists they're fighting are) before crushing those hopes along with everything they hold dear. Like a fucked up (but understandable) mind game. Plus, those cultists will realise their mistake once their souls are dragged into the immaterium and turned apart to be "repurposed"

I’d like to point out the ultramarine made a tactical error when he shot the cultist at his feet, that’s a wasted shot when you could have just deleted him with a high powered heel to the head.

Wasn't quite sure so I googled it to be safe, and I'm pretty sure that door that is initially busted is from Mass Effect. From a Cerberus facility. Which I find weirdly interesting. Also man that Dawn of War voice during the Ultramarine charge was also great.

There is a good guy, nemesor Zahndrekh treated a white scar master of the hunt and an eldar Farseer to a three course breakfast and let the white scar go

I absolutely love love love Pre Heresy Death Guard colors and look. Their obsession with chem, rad weapons was insane. Fantastic video as always sir.

In my mind there is no such thing as a "former" marine. Sure you're not emplyed as a marine anymore but it will always be a part of you. Like there's no such thing as a "former" engineer. @@awesomeadam2299 I would assume the same. It’s similar with how we only really see 1 or 2 models of Khorne Berserkers. If they wanted to make the more lore accurate Plague Marines like Typhon or the ones that looked extremely bloated or diseased looking, the animators would have to make it from scratch.

I disagree with the concept that cultists don't care. Just because they are cultists, doesn't mean they want to die, regardless of how willing they are! They still have objectives to achieve and you need tactics and strategy to do this. Just look at the "Sons of Sek" or the "Blood Pact", they won by beating gaurdsmen at their own game.

The main problem chaos cultist is that they're poorly equipped and poorly trained it's not that they don't fear death is that they are just untrained and don't know better to do proper tactics

chaos cultists have a varying degree of training and equipment, some are defector guardsmen and retain the training and equipment that they had, others are militia and even civilians with little to no training and what ever gear they've managed to grab.

Now in my opinion the "good guys" are who ever you side with.
