    Just watching this back and I only just realised. When the last fist with the hammer has his arm up in front of his face, that's probably a good defence against bolter rounds as the weak points are the eye lens, the gorget and the joints in the armour, none of which are exposed to the oncoming fire. The tradeoff to this is that in covering his eyes, it probably helps the dreadnought attack catch him off guard.

    Absolutely fantastic breakdown, I love how you dig into the emotional aspect of this stuff. One small thing is that the Iron Hands ThunderHawk did fire a heavy weapon into the walls, making a hole, before it crashed. So they made some effort to create a breach before just ramming themselves into solid whatever the material is. Lastly, being placed into a Dreadnought is not always a good thing. The GreyKnights dislike the practice though they still do it. Chaos Marines in general HATE being placed inside a Dreadnought. Its a awful, painful, mind shattering experience that makes even the most stalwart of Chaos champions go insane very quickly. Not being able to really feel the roar of battle, feel the blood and gore, feel a weapon in your hand, it's intolerable to them.

    @Morrigi192

    @@davidlivingston9169 It's the Imperium. "Standard-issue" as we see it today does not exist across the entire galaxy. For example, if the local forge world gets eaten by Tyranids, the rest of the subsector will have to have to make do for awhile, and "awhile" may be decades or even centuries before the supply problem can be solved. But any world with even the most basic machine tools and chemical industry can bang out autoguns and ammunition, and they've got to fulfill the tithe. There are quite a few circumstances where Guardsmen could wind up with autoguns.

    I hadn't looked much into Warhammer40k until I stumled upon your channel, and an absolute THANK YOU for getting me into 40k. Most other sci-fi has always seemed rather bland, and "Star Wars" or "Star Trek" and whatnot have never seemed like something I'd take interest in. 40k however, is just what I need; the GrimDark is perfect, the lore of the universe is as interesting as it is exciting to learn about, and once more I am so glad I stumbled upon this channel. (With that being said, I don't mean to put down other sci-fi. My own personal tastes just seem to favour 40k over the rest, as I find them incomparable. They're all good works of sci-fi in their own right and I am merely expressing my opinion rather than declare one thing is "good" and another is "bad" and whatnot. My apologies if I caused any confusion, or made it sound like that in any way.)

    I would also like to mention that, yes these guard/PDF had auto-guns. But they would have a better chance if they had loaded up decent ammo in the form of man-stopper rounds. Could actually penatrate marine armor. Another thing they could have done was aimed for the joints cause it's softer armor but... these are humies after all
