the beauty i always find is that no matter how mystical and far out the teachings from acim seem at first glance, they soon connect with our common sense, and bring up a moment of clarity in which we say: 'why oh why did i not see this before?'

"Creating a stable basis for success" from this lecture. Awesome lecture. This is what I have looking for, a bridge, a link from the success models that are out there with the concepts of A Course in Miracles. Amazing and powerful.

"If you're getting did not really emanate from your being, then you won't hold it for long." One has to experience this firsthand (multiple times in my case) to see the Truth in this.

I really enjoy Marianne's lectures and books. i know she gets a bad rap from Course students because she isn't the purist that other teachers of the Course are (i.e. Ken Wapnick) but I get the sense the the content of her work is authentic. Also, she's so honest about her own journey and imperfections. Not all teachers of spirituality or religion can say that. Her words and work have really touched me.

Ms. Marianne Williamson's book "A Return to Love" was recommended by my therapist Mrs. Teru Kanazawa Sheehan and Ms. Jodi Jean Sanders. It is a great book that will help me deal with my disillusion. My hope was Jodi would fall in-love with me eventually to get married --- it did not as we never dated. I hope to see her in person to enjoy her company even if it is to say goodbye.

@freakette676 remember the Course in only one of thousands of ways to "wake up". There is nothing wrong with Christianity, there is nothing wrong with anything in this world. If i feel that way, the only thing i need to do is remember my purpose, and my purpose here is to forgive, and only forgive. There is nothing wrong with Marianne Williamson either, but she is not teaching a Course in Miracles consistently.

ACIM can be abstract at times and make statements that are easy just to forget when youre in the world. Its nice that I am love and all my brothers are holy but as soon as someone annoys me at work words like 'divine' go straight out of my head. What this is doing is putting the principals into everyday life and practical words. I think people misunderstand this 'no world' thing. You dont just suddenly pop out of the illusion, you have to claw your way out over time by working at it practically

God seeks spiritual fruits, not religious nuts. xleax, many who go around "Lord, Lord! Praise Jesus!!! LORD,LORD!!!" use that same mouth to spread hate and bear false witness. And many who don't go around rubbing their religion in other people's faces are truly beloved of God. Because God doesn't like it when people rub their mess in other people's faces.

This is really old stuff sweety, there is nothing New Age about her teachings and she discusses this in her lectures quite eloquently. Please do your homework before making judgements. Blessings
