She is still vocally capable of hitting any notes when she is relaxed and less nervous 😍😍

i adore mariah so much! her voice has deteriorated over time because she has nodules, she had since she was a child. her nodules also helps her get to those whistle notes but even with her excellent techniques she still suffers from them. she will always remain the songbird supreme!

Fly Like A Bird was written by Mariah and Big Jim Wright, not just Mariah. It is such a masterpiece.

When she closes her eyes right before the choir emerges she is praying to God saying "My dear Lord be ready, because I'm a bout to transport this entire crowd to your presence". She wrote and copoduced Fly like a bird. She writes her music and makes the arrangements based on her skill and we know how skillful she is. She also won a Grammy for Fly like a bird.

Fly like a bird IS in praise of God and SHE wrote it

Mariah has a lot of gospel influenced records - heavenly, I Wish You Well, There’s Got to be a Way, Make It Happen, and then there’s Jesus Born on This Day which isn’t gospel but a straight up church song she wrote for Xmas.

Mariah voice with a choir is something special ☺️🙌🏽 She took them to church and they didn’t have applause for me That was her pastor that was speaking during fly like a bird

People forget to keep in mind how hard her songs are. The arrangement alone is extremely challenging and requires so much range and technical ability/skill. Her voice is always evolving as it ages. Fortunately she's a real artist and makes music within her capabilities which is still a cloth cut above most.
