i know i’m a few years late but honestly same!!! i’m in my senior year of marching band with a band that is really close to where marks was (and i’ve been able to see his schools band preform at competitions and they’re genuinely really good!!) and it’s always just a feeling of “hey!! i do that too!” whenever he brings it up! plus i found a recording of the show he’s talking about in this and it’s genuinely such a fun and amazing show!!

Last year, a knew student in my class had cancer and no one knew except her and her family. The sad thing is she died only 2 weeks later after arriving at the school. And I kid you not! She died on her 7 year old brother's birthday. What a terrible birthday present. And that same day, the teachers only found out that morning that she died, and so they all wore blue because that was her favorite color. T-T

I had 3 kids (stretch marks) two abdominal surgeries, one surgery *COUGH* downstairs due to severe injury, scars from stitches due to a dog attack, and getting my face slashed open because IM AN IDIOT AND FELL WITH A KNIFE IN CULINARY SCHOOL, and I too embrace my body. It’s the only body I’ll ever have, so I’ll damn well love it and be confident in myself. So should all the other people on here too. Love yourself, even with your scars. You are worth loving. ❤️🥰

My grandma died of cancer before I was born, so I never got to see her. I've never really gotten over it.... and now my grandfather has prostate cancer and he can barely speak.... they're both my dad's parents so I'm scared for my dad me, and my brother.

Mark, I play trumpet in my marching band. I love that you were in marching band and became so famous. It makes me feel better about my future. I wish you would post more vids about your marching band live though. Cause once you join marching band, you're stuck....Its like hell but fun.

Dear Mark or to whom it may concern, In general, Markiplier has played some of the saddest games ever created. But the saddest one is one that is impossible to avoid playing; Life. He's had to put up with surgery, the divorce of his parents, the death of his father, getting kicked out, frequent hospital visits, a hostile fanbase, one of his own friends committing suicide, and has just had an all-around crappy life. Oh no! I'm a sophomore flute I'm marching band and that story honestly pained me. But I love that you're a band weirdo. It adds a whole other layer of cool to you and feels like I can relate to you even more.

I actually am in Marching Band, one of the bands that go to Bands of America regularly and actually placed 9th at one point. Finding out that Mark played in a Marching Band made me feel so happy. Watched one of the videos he was performing in and the band sounded amazing. You did a great job Mark!
