Classic stuff from Saul Marantz....worldclass tubes. Glory days before the sold out to Japan and all the mainstream products since the late 70s/early 80s.....
That you guys from Asia always win the top in Vintage audio .. Great !
Imaging sq id quite amazing. The trumpet ist being reproduced better that if i was playing the horn in my living room. Excellent find man..
Top notch! Great setup. Pleasure to listen too. I love the sound. Congrats!
Hi Keia! I also have and very much like my Marantz 8B power amplifier. I have used my 8B with a pair of Klipsch LaScala 3 way horn speakers, and found that the setup sounded its best with vintage Mullard EL34 xf2 tubes. I found the Winged C (old Svetlana) EL34 to be too bright for my liking. Thank you for the nice video, and thank you for using some very nice music.
How sweet it is to hear record scratches!
That's a beautiful open natural sounding system you have congrats!
Best vintage amp ever made bar none.
Wow. Nice setup. Just bought a Marantz, impatiently waiting for deivery...

Ya the chinese buy up all our great vintage hi-fi why. Because it is the best period.Just like are tube s .50 years and they still cant get tubes to sound like ours. They just try to copy. and that/s the fact Jack!!! But you guys do have some great systems. LOL

makes you wonder why anyone would invest so much time money effort in assembling such systems and then boast them off online with no better than handphone recordings as countless audiophiles do, doesn't it? It's like saying 'i got the best painting ever, wanna see it? i got a photo of it online taken with bad camera with a cotton gauze across the lens'

I think, considering that it was recorded with a phone, it sounds pretty good. I can't imagine how awesome it must sound in person.
Most expensive amps on the planet .70 years old and people still pay 25,000.00 for a pair of Western Electric amplifiers. No we americans build the best. Shit is made in china. you buy it brakes you get another.
