I love the way Louis address this situation, and I love the way Adnan handled the situation. I don't see this as a put down, merely Louis stating that Adnan has to fight for playing time just like everyone else. I love both of them and how they handled this situation. Well done lads!

Matt Josh No, LVG is just an idiot. Benching Falcao and Di Maria for Fellaini and Young is plain stupidity. Let's face it, LVG has no idea what he's doing. He's making things up as he goes along. Then he goes and bullshits to the media about his "philoshophee." He got lucky with Fellaini and Young last season. Unless he stumbles across another couple of accidental discoveries, United will struggle to make the top 4 this season.

Its a very well known tactic of intimidation. It means be careful on your answers as I own you. Van Gal is a strange character, very hard to crack what it is. I dont think Januzaj was intimidated by him but knowing how Adnan was raised he has respect for the elderly and takes even criticism in front of everybody. Adnan is more mature than most 20 year olds out there thats for sure. Compare him to the standards of Costa even though Costa is older.

AlbostyleG Costa could pass off as Januzaj's dad lol, and yeah LvG is a strange character...he's had fall-outs with quite a few players over the years, think that's what happened with Chicharito, Valdes & Di Maria too

how does he put him down ? he basically says players hold their place down based on performance and he gave januzaj chances last season which he didnt take. his taking his chances now and doing well in training and his rewarding him with chances.

He's renowned for bringing through young players so people can't really criticise how he's handling players like Januzaj. he didn't say anything wrong or even try to put him down. He only said he needs to keep working and prove he needs to start over the other players. Everything LVG said in this interview was right and applies to everyone.

Is he fuck putting him down, Adnan is at Manchester United, he knows what goes down no matter his age. Louis doesn't give a fuck, he's developed a trust with players like him to say these things. It's not putting him down, It's only gonna make him stronger!!

Yes they do. But not many people are thinking about the chance of them triggering that clause now. I haven't seen him playing for almost 3 years so I don't know if it's a good idea, but many say he lacks tactical awareness and discipline.

His style suits more la liga with the technical side, la liga is strict with tactics so he’ll improve in that term. Prem is just physical and box to box, not much tactics. He should go someone like Everton to see how he does before considering it as an option

At 3:40 LVG says 'you never have a guarantee on a position in the starting 11'. Van Gaal has previously said on record Rooney always plays as he is the captain. Don't really agree with him on this stance with Rooney. No player is undroppable.
