Yes yes yes. Semi-finals at club grounds was one of the jewels in the crown of English football. Villa Park was an amazing venue for United vs the London clubs. Maine Road and Goodison Park in 1979 and 1985 - incredible. Glad they've started playing some England matches away from Wembley again. Hopefully the cup semi-finals will go back again one day but I doubt they will.

One of the best atmosphere's from Utd fans ever. Remember that day so well. Every Utd fan was up for this and more. When Scholes scored the place went absolutely mental. The Last 10 minutes we carrried the team over the finishing line. Proper passion and singing your heart out for the lads. Only wish the modern day football could be like it that again. Truely great memory i will have forever. Thanks for posting this vid. Keep the Red Flag Flying High, Cos MAN UTD Will Never Die!!!

Absolutely incredible day, this. Quite simply, this game epitomised all that is good about MUFC, on and off the pitch. We were given less tickets than Arsenal that day (due to the usual excuse of 'persistent standing'), but the noise from our end was simply incessant from start to finish, especially for that rendition of the 'Red Flag' at 7:02. Breathtaking. No other set of supporters can come close to United's when everyone's up for it as they were here.

United v Arsenal was fucking class, massive rivalry!! It's amazing from 1:54 to 2:30 how does Arsenal not score. I know Carroll made 3 great saves, but how in the world does Arsenal not score there. The defense there was just terrible except on that Wes Brown save, but its amazing that United won without Van Nistelroy who was hurt, Rooney (young), Giggs at striker who barely does it, Ronaldo (young). Also it amazing that Henry didn't play that game who was still a force for Arsenal at that time.

United had only that one attack, quite lucky to win it really, but we got our own back by being outplayed at next year's Cup Final yet still winning it.

In case you don't realize, we're on a FA Cup video, showing a United team beating a team that was supposed to be invincible. That is why the point was raised that they were so called invincible as they were beaten during that season, which contradicts the meaning of the word 'invincible'. As you rightly said, its actually not rocket science its quite straightforward. Your comment was in fact deleted, someone flagged its repost for spam and hence I didn't see it until I went on 'all comments'

There are a few little bits missing from these "highlights"...Like for instance the fact that in the opening half hour Arsenal hit the woodwork three times and should have scored a hatful. Fair play to United for taking their chance after. MIss those games a lot. There was a bit of aggro outside the United end after the game from what I remember.

Oh u were thinking of the classic between these 2 in 1999 I take it? This one is 2004 u can tell the difference between the 2 sets of players. Ok both teams have a few players that were playing 5years earlier but for example Ronaldo is playing in this game. In the classic, Beckham scored the opening goal of the match and quite obviously Ronaldo was the replacement for Beckham meaning they never played for ManUtd at the same time. 99 classic was the most entertaining game ever, u should watch it.

No it was 0-1 with Scholes scoring the only goal to put ManUtd in the final where we only had to play Millwall so basically Scholes's goal won the FAcup for ManUtd that year. Ironically in the next FAcup final against Arsenal again (where Utd dominated the entire game) Scholes was the only player to miss in the 10man penalty shootout which undeservedly gave the FAcup to Arsenal. But Scholes before that miss and after it has given us so many wins i.e Semi-final Vs Barca 2008 only goal of the tie.

My arse are United fans the best in England. Complete bollocks. United fans are silent compared to most of the 'average' teams in the PL like west ham, liverpool, newcastle, fulham and everton. Their away fans are memorably louder than United, even when they are losing and United are winning. Its generally people who hardly ever go to games that say things bout other teams fans. As a season ticket holder at Arsenal, I know which away fans are the best and it certainly isnt a Manchester team.

I wasn't aware the definition of invincible is limited only to league football. Going by what you chaps profess, it can be applied to a team who went unbeaten in a competition. United did it twice in the CL, maybe not as impressive, but we were 'invincible' in that trophy none-the-less, and what's more, some rate the CL higher than the league.

@redmustang03 rooney wasn't a man utd player when this game was played. henry didn't start but he came on later, i remember he was on though because he had a confrontation with roy carroll. you thought it was amazing that arsenal didn't score against man utd in this FAcup tie but a year later the2005 final was much more beyond belief. it was all man utd with the possession&chances. arsenal played for pens, only had 1 shot on target in the whole120mins & that was from a dubiously awarded free-kick
