Orrrrr maybe the speed racer cops should make better judgement calls instead of putting EVERYONE at risk during a high speed pursuit

Police didn't hit the family's car, the car thief did. And the news report says that police had only just started chasing and been following the thief for half a mile before the crash, not enough time to decide it was too dangerous to continue. What's the alternative, live in a society where thugs can steal your car right in front of police who just sit back and watch? There should be better public funding for crime victims like this but blaming the police seems like just going after the money instead of the real wrongdoer

You sound dumb asf you act like dude was a murder suspect he was in a stolen car it was no need to pursue him as reckless as they were he will be held accountable by god and the justice system but the police need to be held accountable also because they are also at fault for causing a unnecessary tragedy

This is so sick how people are more concerned with property now than human life. This man lost his family and you’re upset that the police are included in the lawsuit? It’s already been established before this that the risk of police high speed chase out weigh the benefits. So many innocent people get killed this way. This been an ongoing issue for decades.

@@ilikeitlikethat7305 Lets sue you. You witnessed the criminal get into the car and drive off. You could've stopped the dude's family from dying....That don't make any cents right? Just like this pathetic lawsuit just trying to get money for what the criminal did

Because the thug driving the car has no money there's nothing to gain from him.

Risk of high speed chase always out weigh the benefits. This been an ongoing issue for decades. How is chasing a car thief productive when he’s bound to crash it if he’s being pursued? Damaging the car, harming bystanders, etc. It’s just dumb of police to use that tactic. I feel so sad for him.
