Well our problem in San Diego is Mexico polluting our water with their sewage.

The reek of human waste in the bay has been an issue for a loooong time, at least for as long as ive lived in the area (25+ years)...if you ever drive over the bay bridge, just roll down the window for a second. Youll probably smell it before you see it, but the water is BAD.

dont forget embarcadero smells like raw sewage 24/7

SF is about 45 square miles. It is ridiculous to think any system could process the amount of water that falls when it rains.

Unitary systems are a problem everywhere not only in SF. Older cities all have that kind of system and remediation is very very expensive. Basically it requires to build a new storm system. On the other hand the trillions of dollars we spend on the military would cover the cost in all major cities.

A few moments back , not too long ago there was a man who put chlorox in fish hatchery and killed 200 k plus fish and he said he didn’t know! 🤨 slams a shot glass of chlorox down on table ! DRINK IT. If he’s dumb enough to drink, then he is smart enough to recurve the consequence ! HE KNEW .
