Making video games can be really tough. But thanks to cool game engines like Scratch, it's incredibly simple. It uses a high-level, visual scripting language to help teach kids and adults how to program. And honestly, it's perfect for people who are asking the question "How to learn how to program?" or "How to make video games". And after my last programming video using C++, let's see just how easy Scratch MIT is to use.

Scratch is really helpful as a programmer who is learning. I find that if I make something in scratch that seemed insurmountable to code in something like C#, it almost makes it clearer how I could have coded it. Can't praise Scratch enough for budding programmers.

I'll be honest, I've had the exact opposite experience. I'm studying to be a web programmer, and I've tried out scratch a few times, and I've never really managed to understand wtf I'm doing. Maybe I'm just bad or I'm too used to doing things a different way, but, like haskell, it's just one of those languages I'll probably never be able to get into
