"It doesn't require me to stare at walls of text and write a ton of syntax" -while staring at a wall of text and inputting fields that are basically syntax. Come on Vim! You're one of us!

Easter eggs are awesome! Would strongly encourage you to include them in future games as time allows :) One of your cleanest games to date. (no pun intended.) Really fun to see your process and skills continue to improve from one jam to the next.

Needs to have an effect if it's done on purpose, though. For instance, if you found this one, it would be cool if when you fell out of the world, you fell into a subway underneath or something and found an exit back up top (maybe add some time so you could do it during a run, too).

This game feels great! So is yet another Vimlark's gamejam devlog. You made big progress especially in terms of not overscoping projects. Practice makes perfect :)

Ideas in the game: * Big windows, it would give it more asymetry and breaks the monotonous and repetetive gameplay. The levels can be accessed after getting a certain amount of points. * Levels with unique buildings, for example the first level would be the building in the video, the next one would be an unstable and snake like building, and so on. The last building can be a dictator's mansion and you're an agent, or even a an alien mother ship where it's in the sky. * Multiple playable characters, make other playable characters with different cleaning techniques, I thought of a scrubbing guy (the one in the video), a sprayer girl that shoots soapy water spheres and is the ranged character, and a dog that had a jetpack that moves faster, unfortunately he doesn't have a parachute so you need to use the jetpack to go up again. That's all I can think of, for now.

Dang those windows are really dirty. I don't even want to know what happened that they ended up this dirty. I love your interpretation of the theme and it looks like a really fun game to play. I personally would have loved some randomness, like wind for example, but you can't please everyone I guess hahaha. Great video as always!

A monster attack. Would have been a cool bait and switch if there was an intro that suggested you'd be using Giant Mech to fight Massive Monsters (which I expect alot of people who entered the game jam did, considering the theme), only for the monster and mech to stomp away and the camera to pan to your window cleaner and let you know what YOU'D actually be doing lol.

I always enjoy your game jam videos and seeing how your games come together and I don't know why but this one just really put a smile on my face. I think its because recently I've been trying to make my own game and struggling with everything that comes with the process, so seeing you develop this game and seeing how it well it turned out just really made me happy for you.

I like your thinking process, you made everything possible to stick to the scope and make everything as efficient as possible. It looks like a good recipe for success in game jams and other time / budget limited projects. I also played the game, very good indeed. I will follow this channel from now on, great job Sir.

Would be cool if you had the opening shot of the building be in 3D using C3's new 3D Camera, with the camera slowly panning down from the bottom all the way to the top. wouldn't be too hard to just texture a 3D shape with the window layout, add some extra objects for the ledges, and then just seamlessly switching to a 2D layout once the camera gets to the top. would probably take a while, but would be super cool!

Really awesome game, I took part in the jam but unfortunately didn't publish my game(no it's not cause it was unfinished or overscoped) I just kinda lost faith in my project and just quit the jam. And this is like 5th time in a row or so I did this. IDK what I am doing wrong but as soon as the jam is about to end I just quit cause I think the game isn't perfect enough or I assume that I could have done it better. Any suggestions on how I should proceed without abandoning games like that would help alot...

Any plans on sticking on a single long term project again? Game jams are fun and all, but I cant really be emotionally attached to any of them for more than the 15 minutes of the video. Following the design process of something bigger feels much more rewarding.
