Emma, I have commented previously on how you make me smile as I am going through a difficult time in my life. Another fantastic episode. I tune into your channel religiously at 5pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and you give me inspiration to fight through and try to make my life happy again. Just keep whacking them in and up 😂😂 and keep doing what you are doing because you bring a bit of happiness and enjoyment into my life. Sparkling lights bunting and bindweed....love it. Thank you
Don’t just snap out the bindweed go a bit deeper and get the roots as well
You could snip a piece of wire off the other side of the pumpkin archway where it's too long and put it over the gap on the other side!

That was my thought too..some things are too obvious 😅
Hi Emma, we 'tune' in every Mon-Wed-Fri to see your latest adventures. Your hard work and perseverance are really paying off and your allotments look great. I don't know how you do it with raising children and keeping up with social media, writing etc.! One thing that I have found works really well for runner beans and peas is to start them off on really damp kitchen towel. I space about 10 seeds on each piece of damp towel, roll them up, put them in a plastic bag and pop them on top of our hot water heater. They sprout within 2-3 days and they can be put in the ground or put in some soil in a pot to grow on. This really speeds things up and stops a lot of slug damage.
The bunting looks so pretty amongst the flowering trees and spring green leaves. Have a wonderful weekend Emma
Emma both plots are looking fab. You are reaping the benefits of all that hard work you did in winter. Bunting really jazzes up the plot. So do your flower garlands round the shed I’ve gotta get some of both 🤩
Emma, you made me spit my coffee out this morning. "Just assume death!" I laughed and laughed and then "whacked in" a few more seeds.😉
You are a delight, young lady! Keep the vids coming.
OMG Emma you are such a total tonic for my soul...lol, so lovely, funny, funky and real...love you ❤
Now you've made me make yet another Amazon purchase! Long may it continue. Now my allotment plot neighbours are going to have a canary over all the bunting.
I love your philosophy to keep sowing whatever the bugs or weather destroy, its really inspiring me xxx
Hi Emma, I’m recently new to your channel, I love the way to talk about the plot , you are ray of sunshine and bring much joy to me . Einstein is happy on your plot. Keep up the good work from Linda ❤😊
I spray fabric bunting with waterproofing spray
Whoever invented the stick, bravo 😂😂😂 always make me laugh every video thank you

Bunting!! Mr and Mrs Bunting used to buy scraps of silk from the silk mills in Sudbury, Suffolk to make into pennants. These were used by the royal navy to send signals from ship to ship....hence bunting!

How interesting Thank You for sharing that. ❤️
Love the bunting, it's 'happy' and we all need an extra dose of happy! Love your constant chant of 'they can't eat everything'. Love your positive attitude.
That burn barrel might come in very handy with all the clippings and cuttings. :)
You have no idea how much joy you bring to my day! Thank you for being you!
I think germination has been slow so far due to cold weather, it's not warm enough yet! Love the bunting!
To get rid of or have less off bind weed, pull the roots out, if you dig down a bit you will find white or crazy coloured roots, pull out as many as you can but DO NOT put in your compost bin as they will grow, chuck in a regular bin, I've been doing this in my garden for 5yrs and each yar less comes back ❤
I love bunting and bought some from Amazon last year - I took it down over winter and tucked it in into a pillowcase to wash it in the washer 👍
The bunting looks magical✨emma so beautiful , the sparkley lights are a great idea!!!
Lol🤣😅 always assume death and the stick talk were hysterical 🤣😅.. by the way, a tool belt would help to carry a shovel, trowel instead of your once clean gloves😉✌️
Sweet Emma, I missed watching you actually. Always looking forward to your video. I like your free spirit, youthful attitude. You are a joy to watch. Your buntings are great.
Emma you have excess wire on the other side of the arch just pull it over till it reaches the floor !!,❤️
How do you not get your nice clothes stained with dirt??? It amazes me the nice clothes you wear to garden.
Paint the bindweed flowers blue and tell everyone it’s morning glory 😂
Netting could be better held down using "tent pegs" which have a hook at one end and are much longer than the staples you're using on the other side. The pegs need some whacking to get them in but they're used to secure tents against the winds.

Alyssum planted in the centre of the sweetpeas will do well, cover the soil and bring in predator bugs too. I am using it as a "living mulch" around the trees and tall plants.
My pumpkins haven't germinated yet either. Its just not warm enough, don't panic. 😊
Thanks for a very cheery and positive video, love the bunting and how you got so much pleasure from it. I think I probably watch you too much! I found myself patting the seeds down like you do and trying to be positive when a mole went through my newly planted pea plants! I also have trouble making structures like you do, but we do get there in the end. Love your trousers and your wonderful selection of beautiful jumpers. Thanks
I bought a big huge bucket of salt all the discount shops were selling it during the winter, ( put it on icey path ) that's what I'm going to put around my raised beds feck the snails. Have to say the best thing I've ever used in coffee grinds from a coffee shop near me I used it as mulch the Last few years not a snail or a weed in sight ever over the winter. I don't use it on vegetables or fruits because I read somewhere it can change the taste, but I did watch a guy on utube that uses it on vegetables and fruit.
Coucou Formidable vidéo 😊 À bientôt
Love, love, love the bunting!

Super Good work Emmas you the best te moostuin te planting thans te video Good weekend 🌱🌿👍🧤🌤🌾🌷🫘🫛
Great video Emma. I’m definitely ordering some of that beautiful bunting it’s so pretty. I’m not sure how true this is but I’m growing a sweet pea wall across a pergola on my plot and I was thinking of putting some beans or peas on the other side of the netting but someone told me that Sweet Peas are poisonous so it’s not a good idea to plant them together! As I say I’m no expert but I’d look into it before you put the beans with the sweet peas.
☔️Woke up to heavy rain here in the UK…so sewing machine and vintage fabric to hand, I will make some Vintage bunting to make my plot pretty and if it keeps away the jackdaws even better 🙏🏼 💕Thanks for the encouraging content Emma💐
I love the bunting! Bunting so reminds me of British Summers…school summer fetes, village fetes, sports days …outdoor events ….summer is coming and hopefully bringing decent weather ☀️ I so love your plots , so unique and beautiful ❤
Great idea to put up bunting Emma, it adds your personality to the plot. Nice video. X
The bunting looks glorious ❤
Super Good work Emma's you the best te moostiun thans te video good weekend grootjes ✔️🤗🌷💐🧤🎽⛅bonen 🌱🌺
The bunting is beautiful! 🥰 And if it's fabric (100% cotton) when it starts to look tattered and worn, maybe just snip it up in your compost bin. So long as it doesn't have any synthetic fibers in it, it should be ok, right?
Was saying a stick before you said it, and I agree with you the amount of things in the garden I've used sticks / bamboo sticks for. Even used a small one for holding my climbing Peter rabbit into my strawberry tower. 😅
Hiya Emma, thank you for sharing. Pretty Bunting. Enjoy your weekend. Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝
I love that bunting. So pretty and cheery. The vintage floral suits you. Your garden is looking great . Leaf miners are a pain and they really love my Swiss chard. Have a nice weekend!
Love the bunting
The bunting is so sweet Emma, just like you ❤
Love the bunting, what a difference it makes..
Thank you !
May I ask where you got your lovely, unusual trousers from please Emma?👖 Love the bunting.👌
This has inspired me,will definitely be putting up some bunting at my allotment xx
I’m still waiting for an allotment 🙄 but love watching you cope with yours and will still watch you when (if ever) I get one for myself! 🥰
On the archway, could the issue be that you've got all the excess on one side? That side would be heavier and overtime drag the lighter side over
Hello Emma, Love the bunting❤ I made my own, but I only use it when I go glamping. Also your outfit is sooo cute!❤ the plots look fabulous! All your hard work is paying off😊
Put some bamboo in and cable tie it together
Love your bunting ❤ it looks so cheerful 😊 So that’s why I’m growing loads of beans 🫘 this year. I’ve started mine indoors. I’ve got broad beans up a few inches in the greenhouse on my allotment garden and there is supposed to be a frost tonight. I hope they will be okay fingers crossed 🤞
Have enjoyed your journey as am waiting for a operation and its autumn here, so am slowly each day getting more of the vegetable garden cleared and ready for spring, am waiting on a delivery of bulbs some new daffodils and more lilies. Happy Gardening you keep me motivated.
Squash and pumpkins like wam soil. Once your weather warms up they will sprout much quicker.
Beans are really growing fast when they show up. They grow very nicely together with pumpkins and even better with corn 🌽 🌽🌽 The years when I grow them together in one so called milpa or three sister bed the harvest is better than when I grow them alone 😉 Have a nice weekend 🌻🌝🌼🌞
WATER! Could you tell us more about your water source? I always wonder about where water comes from on an allotment ❤
I wonder if the bunting would last linger if it was made like a beeswax fabric it would last longer
I like pink bunting best . Just commenting for a friend!
You are hilarious!!!! ‘Stiiiick, stiiiiick’
I heard somewhere that beans like to be planted with 2 beans per hole. So, this year I am trying that to see what it does.
That's what I say about the moose and hardwood trees. If I plant enough, they won't eat them all!
Tie rap for the wire
Cut that longer trellis fencing off and add it to the other with zip ties.
You are doing so well with the allotments but also managing 3 vlogs each week, a tough job.
❤
You go Emma wack em in ❤
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The sweet peas are great, mine are slow this year....😢😊
❤❤❤❤👍👍
Emma my wife and i love your channel my wife now wants some boots like you at your allotment can you tell us what make they are please

They are from Merry People x
Emma my pumpkins haven’t worked this year either I have tried twice and they haven’t worked this is my third attempt
My wife makes it her self. Y dont you give it a go
Why not cable tie pallet wood to the base of your been poles to secure the mesh to?
Emma do you have fruit trees a great addition to any garden.
Pretty indeed! Butterflies need stinging nettles. They are pretty pretty as well, right? Maybe in the greenhouse -to-come area? I’m trying nettle tea for compost this year and also comfrey: supposed to be awesome (maybe I’ll finally get onions🤞) and bees love it. Bees make coffee and chocolate, so I love bees :) Great job, Emma! Don’t let the beetles get you down!
Oh I want bunting now. Where is it from?
Hi Emma. I clicked on the link for the pattern bunting but it keeps coming up with something different! Could you please send the link again please? 👍
