I like your attitude... just try it! If it doesn't work, or if you don't like it, you can always do something different next year. No problem.

I’ve grown over 250 kilograms of sweet potatoes last year. They grow vines like weeds! They get big-BIG 😂 Try to lift the vines over the summer, so it doesnt root everywhere, that way all the energy goes to the main rootsystem and the sweetpotatoes!

The pumpkin you turned should be OK as long as you keep watering it until you can see new leaf growth, then you'll know that it has produced more fresh roots and should be fine 🤞🏻🎃

Some of my plants had a sulk at me this week, too, flopping around like moody teenagers they were 😂. I'm going to whack a purple sprouting broccoli in somewhere random - I've not really got the room, but Ive grown it anyway. Keep safe in the sun, its boiling up here in the north, too 🥵

Crikey it was so hot here yesterday, I gave up on my allotment and went for a pub lunch instead! Today the wind was blowing so it was a bit cooler and I planted lots of runner beans and sweetcorn. My kohlrabi are a lot smaller than yours so I'll be leaving them for a while. We've had no rain at all up here in the Borders, so it's back to watering again! You do make me smile, I love your vlogs xx

*also worth a mention that I only found out myself recently, sunflowers have a chemical in the roots that kill other plants around them so they don't have to compete for nutrients with other plants - So I planted my sunflowers just in randem places in the garden but left them out of my fruit and veg patches and pots - i've not read into what plants they are ok with :)
