Make sure any pot you buy for outdoors has holes in the bottom, if not you need to drill a few for drainage. And check any plants you buy are not dry, with nice leaves on.

Hi Arthur, yes, good points! Amazing how quickly some of the plants will dry up especially when the weather warms up. Best to buy plants soon after they arrive! Thanks for your comment

Enjoyed this video. Love Home bargains to get a few cheaper plants to fill out the boarders. I agree with you there can be a lot of tat but definitely worth a visit.

Tom we haven't planted them up yet because we have bought some topiary balls to sit on top we have bought some pebbles to go in have you any ideas how to hold the balls in , we have bought some artificial plants because I can't do my garden now I used to love gardening but with health issues now I just want it to look nice and make it a lot easier for hubby we used to have a massive garden but we have had to move to a bungalow and it's only small now we've bought some of those topiary balls to hang up I hope it will look nice when he's done it I'll stop waffling 😂😂😂 thank-you take care 🙋‍♀️👋👍👍👍🌴🌾🌿🪴

@@juliepickles3394 hi Julie, sorry to hear you can’t get stuck in to the garden like you used to. If the balls are on a chain then I’d let the chain hang down into the pot and fill the pot with sand and finish with pebbles. That’ll hopefully hold the ball in place and the weight of all that will stop the pot blowing over! Best of luck

The Trachy’s are head height, so they’ve probably had the tips cut off to stop people getting poked in the eye.

no tropicals which is a bit dissapointing ..good video though.....the thing is with home bargains they just dont look after there plants they just leave them to die and thats in every store i have been in if i was the managing director off that franchise every home barging staff member who is on that section would be fired as the moneis they lose that guy who owns it is crazy...

Thanks and I agree. The key to buying plants there is to get them as soon as they arrive! There was no member of staff out there whilst I was there, I’m not sure if they have a dedicated member of staff or not? I suspect not!
