I really appreciate the simplicity of this video and the thought process of you creativity. Being comfortable with both sharing profound emotion while also finding comfort in imperfections, especially during a creative process is a struggle of mine. I don't know how but you just going for it and expressing what you learned out of it, made me realise that I just need to do it. Thank you!

great video. i really struggle to let myself do things more free hand and always 'want' things really pristine and clean. i think i do my ideas injustice sometimes. theres this quote about learning how to play again as an adult and doing a zine this way is deffinately more playful and opens up your creativity. ive been stuck on the same poetry zine for 4 years because of some weird insistence of having some really polished sterile poetry and photography book, like ive not even visited it because of its demand for perfection from me. I never let myself have fun with it. anyway, it was nice seeing someone else do it. it doesnt look too daunting. i definitely still hate indesign tho. all that being said im constantly conflicted between the two looks of presenting.

I HEAR you! Although when I tend to get burnt on an idea I actually want to complete I sometimes try taking a different approach - in this case total analog zine. Maybe only by finishing an unpolished zine you’ll have strong feelings whether or not it needs to be polished. While when it sits unfinished you’ll never have the internal dialogue on which you prefer. All that said. If you ever make one let’s do a zine exchange!! All the best. 🫂

(Drunken in an Uber) That was the reason I watched the whole video ... I think you should have stuck to that title ... I am just typing this out and already forgot the name of the title. But I never forgot your 1st choice Drunken in an Uber. Sometimes it's the raw look at a wound that makes us look... Oh, that being said, the poems you read were very moving and needed to be said. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
