I know if my Dad was aluve he would have lived to tackle this project. He use to make leather wingtip shoes after work and on weekends. He also had a repair shoe shop a few years when I was in high school. Beautiful wallet. ...M♡M of 5

Everything was set, drawings/photos/video. Just more of instruction paper to prepare. Then I will post on ETSY. And will update to you too. (Do have students on day time, will make it as fast as possible)

Hi, great work there! Just a question, will there be residue left on the leather surface after u remove the glued the pattern on it?

Hi cXiTong. This method help for cutting soft leather not to move while blade on it. When you glue on the pattern with rubber glue make sure it super dry. It need to check/test on the leather you gonna cut. Some leather this method may effect on it, if yes I will use the carbon pen or round awl or die-cut knife on it.

Thank You too for support watching our videos. Till now I work and teach about 8 years. More of practice n mistake which help me a lot.

Why don’t you use a stitching pony? Two needle stitching is so much easier if you do.

That's chrome tanned leather. (German Hide and tanned in Thailand)

Can this method works in vinyl?

Yes of course. You just need to add cushion and lining layers (As per type of vinyl, some are complete thick some are thin) for more comfortable use.

This thread contain thin layer of wax already. Normally I don't like to wax again top on thread. (But my wife always like to re-wax.) Since this video quite months already. As I watch, this project use thread as is.
