Tote Bag Making & Fashionary book review

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hi. Welcome to my channel. Long-time no see.
Today I make a daily tote bag called "Day Tote" for carrying (almost) everything from cosmetics to 13"-14" laptop. And also this time is the first time I make a book review. "BAG DESIGN" from FASHIONARY is a very good book to use as a reference for bag maker or bag designer. In this video, I narrative though behind many bag process making, I wish you guys like it. Please make a comment for me so I will know how to improve next time.
Hope you enjoy it.

I've watched a number of your videos and they're all great. But this one was far more valuable to me. I really appreciate your commentary throughout the video. It helped me to understand more about the details of bag making. And the info about the book was great too (I ordered mine before I finished watching your video). Many thanks to you and your wife for putting this informative video together. It will be stored in my favorites for future viewing and reference. Keep making great videos and awesome products.

A really superb tutorial! Thank you so much for the narrative and the exquisite attention to detail in this simple but very attractive bag. I really appreciate the tips for sewing the sides in 5 cm bits as well as how you do the bottom and then finishing the sides. I also like the idea of using masking tape for straight lines, but won’t it damage the finished side of veg tan leather? do you use the masking tape only chrome tan or by testing in hidden spot first? Thanks!! I do hope you talk more in new videos, they go from excellent to superb when you are talking to us!

Thankyou very much Abel. For awl I can mention only the one I use. I use normal Blanchard plain blade but with custom made handle. Also the already made is good enough, then tune in to what you need. For me I have tune and sharpen for many of my students and its good enough for me. It is easily to shape it. I did made video for sharpen it in my very first video. Or I think you also can look for doldoki brand from Korea is good too.
