Hi. Today I've made Dopp Kit / Toiletry Bag with standard size and proportion. Super easy to make.
Hope you enjoy it.
In size of W 19 cm. | 7" 1/2"
D 10 cm. | 4"
H 10.5 cm. | 4" 1/4" Without handle
In this project we use oil chrome tanned leather for the outside and pig leather skin for the lining.
Typical 4mm. diamond type pricking iron.
BondTech Glue, a local glue brand in Thailand
YueFung Thread in 0.55 from YueFung Hong Kong
Awl blade from Blanchard with custom made handle

Hi, normally I bought locally in the leather street of Bangkok. And there are plenty of ETSY seller. (Which I never try purchase). I just can recommend from shop I've been order. The leathercrafttools.com and phoenix osaka can be the source I recommend.

What’s is the thickness of the outside leather? Is 2.5mm chrome tan too thick?

I think its still possible to flip it out. Just the edge of the leather (flipping seams only, not the zipper side) needed to skived down to 0.8 to 1.2 before stitch will be ok.

The size of leather about to fit in the area of 34 x 45 cm. (13 ²⁵/₆₄ x 17 ²³/₃₂)

I use Grafted Polychloroprene Adhesive "BondTech", a local brand in Thailand.

No estoy seguro de qué impresora o software utiliza. Pero le recomiendo que utilice el software PDF oficial gratuito de Adobe para imprimir para una escala de súper precisión. Y también para la impresora, verifique el 100% o la escala 1: 1 antes de imprimir. Porque en muchas computadoras, la configuración predeterminada es imprimir para que se ajuste (lo cual no es preciso). Por favor, avíseme si esto funciona. Mejor GUS pero no logro imprimir con la escala correcta *Traductor de google

good video, but doesnt it make more sense to glue the zipper, then separate the two halves, sew THEN put the stoppers on? It makes the sewing so so much easier.

Thank you. As per I teach students, to place stopper depends. Some preferred before, some like after, and some like making bag without stopper. In my other video also make other methods.

Why did you skip zipper teeth and make a gap in zipper?
The pattern is the worst pattern in the world, I am so sad I bought it not good at all and missing lots of things. Want my money back!
