Making - DIY Pastry Board or Pasta Board(bakbord) Birch plywood and Walnut

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

So, last year I made this pastry board (Pasta board)for my wifes birthday. It's exactly a year ago. That's why some of the tools doesn't match my shop tour video. The pastry board is made out of 9mm birch plywood and walnut. i finished it off with some paraffin oil, same oil as I use on cutting boards.
Hope you like it.

Simple and clean. I like the two-tone approach. Also, the plywood means I don't need a planer, so this might be my method. Much faster than a butcher block style that I was thinking to do. I'm going to try to make a stove top cover that doubles as a countertop pasta board. Just working out the details. Thanks for this video and the ideas. Now to go measure.

The Redsmith Thank you Red! It’s the camera angle that throws you off. I’m not as close to the blade as I looks.

Paraffin oil. It is food safe and good for cutting boards and stuff.
