This is such a cool idea! The only thing that I would change: Build a bigger pot, so that when Gilbert eventually outgrows it´s first one, there is no need to build him a new shell immediately. One can always add a layer of water retaining soils or simple aluminium foil on the bottom to match the hight of the smaller plater containing the plant with the hight of the bigger, outer one!

Gilbert looks happy.

So glad this channel showed up in my recommendation feed. Awesome builds all around.

Thanks Max! I contemplated editing out the mistakes, but then there would've been nothing left to show in the video... 😂 Also, Ghibli is awesome. I listened to the Jazz Ghibli mix as I worked on this. Maybe those vibes crept into the build...

This is the most professional looking, low sub, low view channel I’ve ever found…..which is sounding like an insult but that’s not my intent. Keep it up man, this is awesome, just got yourself another sub. Good outreach on Reddit as well.

Just fine! The interior plastic pot is the one holding the soil that gets water, so it has no effect on the exterior or the electronics. LEDs still work too!

@@jonnyjonjo I understand why it’s doing that, this particular video has the highest watch-through percentage of any video (77%), so YT thinks it must be better than my others, when in fact it’s probably the least interesting thumbnail and build idea. 😂 So sometimes you kind of have to battle the algorithm a bit. After unlisting this video my channel’s stats have been increasing.
