    @@2Shadowscout I made it with this method once and it had some dry layers, my proven and guaranteed way to have perfect baklava is by brushing each layer with melted butter

    This is how its made in shops. If they were to sit there and brush every layer they would never get anything done.

    My mum uses an old recipe made by her grandfather to make baklava. This method takes 3 DAYS to be made. And it is way better than any Baklava I have tasted. I won't be using this brcause it isn't as good.

    you need to butter all layers, it just won't be the same if you don't. Cutting corners won't produce a great product.

    You need to butter each layer of phyllo dough and most importantly, you shouldn't press the dough like that. You should leave some air in between so it becomes airy and light when cooked. Baklava shouldn't have to be pressed like an ironed shirt.

    Just did the 2 hour method, clarified my own butter, made the infused syrup, chopped the nuts by hand and individually layered it. 🤦🤦

    Esta mal hecho , lleva manteca pincelada entre capa y capa de masa filho asi no qeda dura , el postre turco no es crocante y el original es de pistachos aunqe tb se puede hacer de nueces😚😚

    This does not work at all. Just tried it and it's a total floppy mess. The entire bottom layer doesn't get crisp and just stays soggy.
