A classic dessert and my absolute favorite, the banofee pie doesn’t even need an introduction, guys 🥰✨
This super decadent dessert is love at first bite and will instantly become a favourite❤️🙌🏻
Try out the recipe today and kickstart the month of love with this irresistible dessert ✨
Ingredients-
✨1 packet lotus biscuits (32 biscuits)
✨6 tbsp melted butter
✨1 can condensed milk
✨3 bananas,sliced
✨1/2 cup whipped cream
✨Chocolate shavings, to garnish
Instructions-
1. Place the can of condensed milk in a large saucepan filled with water. Cook the submerged can for 3hrs. Open the can once it cools completely and this is your dulce de leche filling
2. In a bowl combine crushed biscuits and melted butter. Mix until the biscuits crumbs are evenly coated with butter.
3. Press this mixture into the bottom and sides of an 8” tart pan. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
4. Once cooked, spread the dulce de leche on the biscuit crust.
5. Place banana slices on top and cover germ whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

No you'll be very surprised when you have banoffee pie, the dulce de leche and the bananas are a match made in heaven. The bananas (and whipped cream) help with the sweetness of it and it brings out the flavour of the banana

@@zenitsu9651He cooked it for 3 hours to make dulce de leche, it has a completely different taste more akin to caramel than anything else. It is sweet, but I wouldn't say too sweet.

I have heard it's risky to boil condensed milk like that. Due to built in pressure it might burst
I make it regularly To make the tofee sause, pressure cooker it on high for 3 sitis and ur done

Thank you. Actually in futura cookers whistle is constant unlike our normal cookers which give whistle after some duration. That's why I asked if half hour would be enough.

Cooked condensed milk is homemade dulce de leche. Trust me, I'm a Brazilian, I've made it several times.

Thats dulce de leche. It will taste more like caramel than condensed milk. You can mak it by cooking milk with sugar but it will take a lot of your time and energy so cooked condensed milk is the easier option
