Hi, just wondering how do you clean the brush that was used to apply the liquid polyester resin with the matting afterwards? I attempted to make a mold using resin and the brush was ruined afterwards. Is there anyway to salvage the brush afterwards at all??

The method would be similar and I have used fibreglass to make mother molds to house silicone. However, you might want to check out other peoples videos when using different materials. I know many use a resin to make mother molds to house molds made from materials other than latex. :)

  • @dramamask

You are right and it is best to put on wax first and then PVA. I had a brain fart during this video and the correction is in the description. PS: I have seen some put on wax then PVA and another coat of wax on top of the PVA, but I stick to the conventional way.

It's preference really and there are lots of ways to make seams. Paper or magazine paper can be used to make the seams on latex molds, but some more sturdy is better for making the seam separation on fibreglass mother molds. :)
