Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this tutorial we explain the process of making a 2 piece resin mother mold using out ArtKast Brushable resin. We use a water clay wall to divide the rubber mold into two halves. The silicone mold was made using our P525 silicone.

I have a framed picture of late customer and friend Jack Wolfsen holding a 2" brush he used hundreds of times. Not sure how much he spent on solvent to preserve that .45 brush, but he did make it last!
Weight conversion from liquid to solid should be important at finished process
Is it possible to crush/crack a mother mold with the locking straps?

If you make the shell too thin and pull the strap too tight, you can definitely crack a mold.
How do you measure the solid weight to liquid process

Not sure what you mean. The ArtKast resin is measured 1:1 by weight.

@@mariadolores8468 if you mean how do you know how much liquid you will use in total. Fill your mould with a dry sand or rice. And weigh it first to give you an idea. But if your first material is the more expensive one. Then make a hollow casting with it. Painting it inside the mould or rolling it around inside the mould. Then when you have enough hollow coats and they have cured. Then mix up a cheaper material with resin and pore it in to fill the mould up. Then when you remove the mould you will only see your expensive material.
