thank you! I am trying to use thos to make a dagger and some arrowheads for a cosplay, this was exactly what I was looking for! <3
❤❤ beautiful work nd inspiring me to hunt for a leaf nd do the project 😅. Well done ✅ and thank you for teaching useful stuff .
Thank you very much and very glad you enjoyed the video! Good luck with your leaf! 🤩
❤❤❤
🤩🤩🤩
WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE KNOWN HOW MUCH PLASTER OF PARIS WAS USED!
It was the right amount for the job. 😁
❤❤it😊😊
Sorry but it isn't an airplane, there isn't any counter shading in that beetle, it's the same colour both top and bottom
Could you provide the measurements you use for the concrete/sand/poly fibre & soap mix?
£7.50 per litre when you made this video. Fast forward to 2024 and it's went up to £13.26 on Amazon.
Wow! That's almost twice the price!!! Crazy!!!
Is there a reason why you didn't go through the profile and down the back of the head and make this a two piece mould?
Yes! It would be almost impossible to try and split the mould if it was a two piece. I made a two piece mould with a simple skull model a while back and was a nightmare to break free. If in doubt with a two-piece, I would always make a 3-piece, or multi-piece mould.
I’m trying to find that same hands design mold , but in a tiny size; 2” max length, and 11/4” width, 1/2” height. Are you aware of a mold this small ? Thank you.
Thank you ! This was exactly what I was looking for ! 😊
keep narrating & what is the sealant?
How do you plan on filling the stem part without it overflowing
What molding material do you use and where do you get them? I seen other videos with concrete and things where they use a sander as a vibrator to help get the air bubbles out I don’t know if it would work for something like this
I don't mind the voice over.
What was the release agent for if you added the wax
Do you have a link for the LEDs that you used?
What is that😂😂
Good teaching sir, could I combine two double A's or two triple A's with a switch, for a board in next picture?
Nice gargoyle. Is it oil-based clay you're using?
Great video. Just wondering, can this be bisque fired and glazed afterwards? Can't seem to find anything online about dental stones and their compatibility with ceramic glazes/withstanding heat (approx. 1300C in a kiln). If you've got any knowledge on this that would be great, thanks :)
dish soap is a air entrainer add mix with a moderate effect on workability as well. air entrainment wile indeed decreasing the strength of concrete it also increses freeze thaw durability of concrete
❤❤it🎉😊😊

Great Video and build, although you didn't get the decals on. I have this same model and I sort of messed up the front decal.
That ending was priceless😂👍
You did not mention why not to use thicjener
So, no need to reinforce slab with rebars or mesh? I recall my father doing this over 50 years ago. Love that table to remove bubbles and help settle the mixture. Thank you for sharing.
You can use a soldering iron to poke holes instead. I also use the same when rehabilitating sick plants 😊
never release till its stone cold otherwise you run risk as he did of bits breaking off
So, about a day for half of a mother mold if you are doing 3-4 layers for let's say... a mask?
❤❤it 😊😊
Great job, gave me some ideas on a piece I'm working on now. Just joined your Pro Boards Forum, noticed that there hasn't been too much activity on there in a while. Was hoping to get some advise and learn from others. I'll keep on checking back to see if anyone new posts. Thanks!!
Hi there. Do you have an email address please? I have some moulds I would like to have made and was wonder if you would consider quoting for them.
Will this or monster clay dry on its own? Could this be the "finished" project?
Do you need to add oil to help remove the original model from the latex? Thanks
The model should be clean and dry before you put the first coat on.
Is there latex in all pox I resin moulds .?. 1:17
Thank you, this is the easiest way I have seen to patina, well done. I prefer you talking than playing music for your videos.
hi. before applying latex on model, do you apply wax on model o remove mold from original model easyly? what kind of wax do you use? thanks.
hi. as you know, When we want to make a silicone mold, we usually use silicone spray on the original model so that the silicone does not stick to the original model and can be easily removed. For latex, I don't know what I should use and apply on original model? we have to apply material on original model before start creating mold? thanks alot for your help.
Don’t use silicone use rubbing alcohol and Castrol oil 70% with a tablespoon of oil in a spray bottle . Petroleum based products eat latex
can you eat off this once cured
Love it
Thanks sir..
Hello, I have watched your video about polyester casting and I liked it very much but one thing I can't figure out is how do you avoid the shrinking of cured polyester. I have some parts for my scale models which I copied with this method but after some time the copies become significantly smaller. Do you use some sort of filler like calcium carbonate and in what proportion?
How long did it take to make latex mould
Please continue your narration.
I wish you spoke and explained... cause they both look great.
Thank you for comment and noted. Btw, there are other narrated videos on channel showing similar techniques, etc. 😀
Great video. How can you very properlyl clean the cup or seringe?
Can this resin be painted on?
