This song gently carries my soul to the next level, every time.
9 years later and I can't believe how relevant this song feels. I cry back then listening and I hold back those same tears now. I hope everyone is holding up well. Wherever you are in the world I pray for you, and your freedom and dreams in this changed world we are learning to navigate.

Me hace bien
After all what they did to hurt me, make me weak, and make me ignorant. I didn't surrender. Look at me now, I am more powerful and smart than all of them. Thanks to those hard times. 😊😊😊
This song brings up crazy emotions but beyond positive ones! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! So beyond fly. Recommend for Boykin 😆
I cant seem to get myself to stop smiling. OMG , I am singing my happy face off.

goddamn this was one of the staple soundtracks of my life, living with my then gf in our little place, for the first each of us leaving our parents to wade the adult world. we became potheads, listened to quirky trippy stuff, watched tons of movies and shows, animation, invited friends, made many "happenings" (get high, prepared food, eat and watch or listen, or just have cool convos), it was great for the most part. miss those times... because they never come back. I was a 20 something. Now I'm 32 and it's never coming back. I'm looking for other things in life so that experience will never reoccur. The friends are also in differents part of the world, same with my ex. We all drifted appart.
This is mine and my dad's song and I can't see him bcs he lives as my nans carer which means I won't see him for a long time and I'll be thinking bout him while I listen to this during Corona 🥺🌍💕
This song brings me to another dimension!
What a timeless song 🎧
I know this song 10 years now. Listen to it now feels like bitter sweet nostalgy. It brings back many beautiful memories but also reminds me how fast time goes by. This makes me very pensive. Notably when you turn 30 next year. I was young and I just wanna dream. One of my all time favourites for sure.

40 this year. Some friendly advice, Don't spend your 30s wishing for your 20s... you'll look back when you're 40 thinking how you'd give anything for those very same 30s. Enjoy what you got, now
diplo was and still is ahead of his time man... thanks mate
i love this face of major lazer we need more songs like this from you
This is the story of my life.... reminds me of being a homeless youth.... sitting in juvy....not for being bad...but for being poor...and neglected.....I'm glad Jesus walked with me through it all....

Just had a stoney wit my cousin 2day and he played this song and I was like holy shit I remember this master piece 🦍💯🙌
Sent a girl a mixtape (on cd) back about ten years ago, she gave me one back with this song on it. Loved it, then she ended up dumping me and i remember listening to this song a million times and _still_ liking it despite it making me think of her. Or maybe _because_ it did...
this song is my forever favourite... I just makes you feel free, releases your mind and just makes you smile, sober or not!x
10 years later, stil love it

The way I connect with this song is too much for me to handle… so many feelings and thoughts this is truly a mind awaking song thank you.
I was about to say how good this song makes me feel, but words are not enough. Thanks.
This song reminds me Africa. Someday Africa will be free !
Even though I'm pretty new to Major Lazer I somehow feel like some of the songs have always been with me. This is one of them. It just resonates with me so powerfully, and makes me think of visiting my friend in Chicago in a low point of my life.
How did I missed this song when it came out, absolute masterpiece
Still listening this song almost everyday!

I’ll always love Major Lazer for this modern classic, I remember hearing this almost 5 years ago. Seriously crazy how time flies
Never heard of this song until I watched the Bay watch movie earlier today. This is such a beautiful song.
"Look at me I just can't believe What they've done to me We can never get free I just want to be" Sad times. Can't believe we're going through this again. Damn

I JUST WANT TO BE FREE LIFE IS TOO SHORT. TAKE THE CHANCE. DON'T ALWAYS BE SAFE. ITS NOT WORTH IT. BE DANGEROUS. TAKE RISKS. BE SMART, BUT BE BRAVE. GET FREE.

The best, the most magical song from ML, with hard lyrics. For this reason it is underrated.
10 years ago 16 years old me was living for this .. vibe 2022 still
I love hearing that song for a nice relaxing break in the Skadovsk after a stressful expedition in the Zone
