I was just in confusion the whole time how Troy was able to walk it off after being impaled by a tree brach, you think it would've gotten infected too when he was in the muddy water with walkers in it

Not to mention being impaled that deeply by a thick, large branch would probably incapacitate you due to shock, and then would further result in a very rapid bleed-out after pulling it out. Where did the hole presumably go after he pulled it out? Simple Gauze, nor stitches would be enough to patch up a hole that big, and blood should be absolutely pouring out of that gaping wound. It's just yet another symptom of the fact that the writers know absolutely nothing about the world which they write for. If you're going to write about a post-apocalyptic world where people are wounded and injured constantly, it would be nothing less than expected that the writers should be researching what it's like to be afflicted with various wounds, how the body reacts to such wounds, what does vs. doesn't work for healing those wounds, and of course the long-term impacts. Yet, these writers don't take any time at all to do any of this background work, and that results in the level of goofiness, absurdity, and confusion that has become a hallmark of the post-Erickson era of FTWD.

I haven’t seen a “ trapped in quicksand” scene like that since the mid 80’s lmao 🤣 😜 The writers must have skipped geography in grade school cuz the jumping from location to location in the allotted time makes absolutely no sense. Idk it’s over that’s the best thing I can say about this installment 🖖✌️

Troy was out for hours with his daughter there trying to wake him up. Can’t believe all those herd walkers didn’t swarm to the noise instantly! And when they did come they were just drawing on the windows lol

Wow, Tracy got over someone killing her dad pretty quick. This finale was a mess. It's like tying up loose ends was more important than any sense of logic or plausibility.

BTW, the whole "blaring a stereo with rock music" to herd some walkers leaves out the reality that there may be a bunch in of them in the direction you're headed, so you end up just getting surrounded. But hey... because of plot.

Skidmarks reunion forgives everything bad in This season. And that says a lot cause there was a LOT OF BAD STUFF

They did my guy Troy dirty. Brought him back to only have a stupid storyline as is with Fear and then have Madison re-kill him lol. What was the point? Really wanted him to live but I'm kinda over it by this point

This is all so convoluted. What a mess. These show runners consistently make terrible decisions.

I hope everyone enjoyed it, I'm just glad it's over, i wanna see Rick Grimes now

The final 2 episodes were hilarious and predictable. However I can admit when I am wrong and I was wrong about Alecia returning. That was cool of the actress to return for that. It was good to see her. Why is Dwight going back to sanctuary? It fell apart last time they were there

I just finished the finale and it was alright but it could have been soooooo much better if they just made different choices just little things that they could have done would have made this finale soooo much more meaningful but it just felt like it could not get away from the lazy writing tbh.Fear will go down as the show that had all of the potential in the world but just missed the mark every time.

These last episodes feel like they were written by some 12 year old. It was like watching an episode of scooby doo. Maybe this would be entertaining to some preteen who has a crush on one of the characters. My main question is how in the whole world did these show runners last so long? Do they have some dirt on gimple or something. They should have been fired after season 4! You can tell the actors don’t believe the story either, these actors aren’t terrible actors in normal situations but you can obviously tell they aren’t in on the story either. So thank you Andrew and Ian. What a time suck, you guys took a relatively decent show into a big fat joke on us! James…stop apologizing for ranting. Stand by your review. Thanks for your channel, I enjoyed your reviews.

If you read my comment they didn't do that at all, yes they showed used footage of nick and Alicia but what I said was like the dinner vision from season 3 or so where they're all interacting with eachother and happy, not archive footage. Also that was her remembering them not really a vision of them but okay

The whole frozen thing still confuses the heck out of me. Especially back in the previous episode where the walkers were all of a sudden frozen in the mud. And only that one specific place was way colder than anywhere else they visited. How was there that much snow and ice and freezing temperatures in that one place? It makes absolutely no sense.

There's a certain someone who returns in the last episode who may have saved the last episode for me. Just not wholeheartedly.

Where was Tobias??? Kidding of course. Didn't love it but it was solid enough for Fear for me. I got the one thing I wanted and that was good enough for me.

Troy’s stories going back & forth is an obvious tactic by the writers, to do that well, it can’t happen so fast. From the moment I seen Tracy, I thought she was likely Alicia’s daughter - I think the writers knew people would think that, so they thought they’d tell us different, then change it again. How did Alicia get pregnant when she was SURELY dying back when Victor left her on the beach? Just when I thought the episodes were getting better, this happens.

What a cluster F&&k. They kill best character off. You got Strand and the Marvels running around(The 3 Alicia wanna be’s) everything was cramped. Troy lying I will say a psychopath would lie like that. But it was all over the place. I know people are happy with the reunion but how was she cured. And how Madison was saved was a three second scene when we were told it would be epic how she got out there. I can’t wait for Rick.

That tree hitting the truck was pretty cool but the herd should've been right on top of them though. I really thought she was going to spare Troy at the end but nope. I didn't totally hate the episode, was confused about what really happened with Troy's wife and Alicia. Constantly changing what really happened to her was just annoying already

I'm just happy this garbage is over. What a waste of a decade..

8x11 is one of the worst episodes of television I've seen in a long time. Troy comes in swearing that Alicia killed his wife, just to come in with that stupid reasoning of Alicia inspiring her and she got killed by someone that had absolutely nothing to do with her. Troy has a literal hole in him, yet swimming in zombie infested swamp-like water and... it's fine. It's just... dear God, it's absolutely terrible. This whole show went from somewhat decent to a dumpster fire.

I gave up about 20-25 minutes in. My brain couldn't take it anymore. I really tried because I wanted to see how it all ended. But it sucked too much. The whole point of this final 4 seasons of FTWD is that you too can be a showrunner for major cable sci fi drama series.

Bringing Troy back from the dead with no explanation except "We needed a final villain and we had no time to build up a new one" I was fine with that cus Troy is my fav character in this shit show, but they still killed him after 5 episodes... Its like when they faked Glenn's death and still killed him like 7 episodes later. Troy should have never died in s3, Nick also shouldnt have died in s4 and just maybe i would have found the show entertaining...

Why do the directors always make a person stand close to someone who wants to kill them and then make them turn their back to them like a complete idiot so they can get hit on the head. Is that really the best they can do to get to the next plot point? Remember same thing in Daryl Dixon when he leaves his gun on the cart when he's crossing the zombie moat close enough so that the guy he captured can reach it. TWDU writing is so insulting sometimes. Edit: Just got to the end ... so Madison did the same stupid move twice in the same episode. Great job writers.

The plot in a nutshell. Alicia, Madison's story, helping people, and Padre. It's really bad writing.

The idiot from Padre being the one who saved Madison was so ridiculous! He shows up just to tell us that and then gets eaten by two zombies while just standing there. No doubt season 8 is the worst. Seasons 4 and 5 were boring but this season is just nonsensical.

Can someone tell the writers that in no universe would people who have survived this long continuously leave weapons or potential weapons within arms reach of someone (especially who you've tried to kill or killed someone they loved) much less do it and then look away? I guess part of everyone having the zombie virus inside them makes them partly an idiot too?

So i just finished the finale. It was good! But man so much felt like fanfic and it felt rushed. Like they could've shown us what happened to them when Alicia, Madison, Tracy went back to LA. Hell even shown us Tobias the student from S1 being alive still... So much could've been better but alas we didn't get it! Maybe in a new spinoff we will get it.

Who the hell wrote this last season, and who the hell greenlit it to be shown to the public. This is worst tv i have ever been forced to watch

Troy played me like a goddamn fiddle, they did last 2 eps pretty fine, yeah it wasn't great, it definitely could be better if they did make better setup. And it felt like higher ups just really just want it to end as quick as possible. edit: I got lot of "wtf man really why would they do this?" moment and decided to turn of some portion of my brain while watching and i enjoyed it quite lil better.

I wrote the best series finale in the world. Dave Erickson could never compete.

How did tracy dig madison out from the rubble all by herself and how did strand know that tracy shot madison and that the medallion saved madison if he didn't even talk to her and he thought she was dead. Medallion Madison😂 Honestly too many plotholes, Mo's actress cant act ro save her life. Ordessas actress was way better imo.

The ONLY thing I didn't like about the two part finale was Troy being killed. Other than that, I'm astonished by how good they wrapped up this show. Episodes 8, 11 and 12 were the great episodes, the other 3 sucked. So, half and half. But, I'm at least glad it ended well.

Terrible writing mixed with annoying characters. Thank god it’s over.

So Alisha is dead and the girl is her Alisha’s daughter? Who is the father? Did Madison die, Strand or Daniel? Did she find wallet Alisha? When I see the beginning of the shows first season and then I read and watch this episodes of the final season I just can’t believe how south the show went. Honestly, although no one has mentioned it yet and so I’m guessing they’re probably did not happen, but if anyone deserves to be dead on that show, I say it’s Madison, because Madison is the clause of more troubles on that show than she is a person who solves them . 90% of the time the trouble that they get into is because of her selfishness. I would rather see Travis somehow survive and become the hero of Padre. Even though he wouldn’t be the best leader because he’s too kind hearted. What a fucking horror show. I apologize for cursing, but Even though this is horror drama, I just think that fear of The Walking Dead ceased to be fun and just became depressing because all the most interesting characters died either off camera, or they were just written off with crappy deaths. The show feels like it was a slog to nowhere. I think that as a whole fear of The Walking Dead is everything a zombie show should never be.
