Of course, Troy would lie and say that Tracy was Alicia's. He knew that madison would protect her and take care of her, thinking she was alicia child He figured she would never find out because in his eyes Alicia was dead He killed her so he thought.

Daniel reuniting with Skidmark makes this finale a 10/10

This version of FTWD is a little easier to watch/digest if you look at it as campy satire. It could almost be mistaken for a show that has pretty good production but god awful writing. It’s almost unbelievable how bad the writing’s been. You have to suspend disbelief almost nonstop to buy some of the 💩 they’re peddling. Everyone always showing up from different sides of the state/country at the most opportune times… even Skidmark, my God

13:53 I can't believe they retconned it so that it was Crane and Shrike that saved Madison from the stadium all those years ago. (It would have been about 10 years, at this point.) So, what, they just happened to be in Texas at that time? When they were teenagers? Within a quick driving distance from the stadium where they could rush there and pluck her out of danger? That is just so unbelievable. This show just keeps piling on the coincedences.

The Stadium fell about 3 years into the apocalypse. The could have had PADRE running strong by then. Especially since it seemed stable 5 years in when Morgan arrives.

@@TheDMsofDisability Padre is on the east coast. The baseball stadium was in Texas. Those two siblings just happened to be right around the baseball stadium? When they were teenagers? Huge coincidence. But, that's this series entire M.O., is that characters are just conveniently in the right place at the right time. So, at least they're consistent.

I knew as soon as we saw Madison for the first time in season 8 that it was Padre who saved her. I mean, it was obvious...the very next time we see Madison after the stadium, she's with Padre.

Troy says he TOOK Alicia’s daughter (away from her) for “taking” his child and wife away from him. Not that Alicia gave the child to Troy to care for. I realize that Troy had to die because he’d killed too many people, including his own (even though it was dumb to bring his character back just to kill him again. That really could have been ANY character). HOWEVER, did they have to bring him back, do absolutely NOTHING with such a fine actor, and then have him do the EXACT same storyline as season 3? He tries to destroy a community with a hoard of Walkers. He teams up with Madison and decides to help her. She realizes he’s too much of a loose cannon and kills him suddenly. Season 3 all over again! These writers couldn’t even come up with something new for him! Such a waste of an excellent character and a really good actor.

Only 4 episodes with Troy :( Should've kept him alive so that he could be in the crossover series.

I think Troy was lying about Alicia being the mom because he wanted to protect Tracy.

Bringing Troy back for the final few episodes just to try and get the ratings up, when the damage had already been made with ftwd, was a joke! Shouldn't have been killed off by Madison for the 2nd time.

I took it to mean Troy killed Alicia and then took her baby as payment/payback for blaming Alicia for getting his wife and unborn child killed. Of course the final episode revealed more.

Nothing will be as bad as Game of Thrones’ ending. That was a betrayal of story and characters that is a once in a century type of fumble.

Man troy and Nick were my 2 favorite fear characters and damn man. I'm glad this show is over.

the writing style makes me feel like we are being treated like 10yr old comic book readers of spiderman or batman - 1950's era - in the sense that we are expected to just go along with the way the plot has be splattered carelessly.. it feels jilted. the gaps and missing bits are one thing - but, we are expected to 'fill in the gaps' but instead.. nek minute a character has to physically say what has happening while its happening.. or troy sits and feebly explains he grabbed a root and got them out of quicksand.. its done in a way you do so children can keep up with the 'nefarious plot line' the whole story is 'explained' - badly.

Obviously Troy was lying about Tracy being Alicia's daughter, but his lie was that he murdered Alicia and stole Alicia's baby. He wasn't saying she gave him her daughter lmao

Crane showing up was to tie up loose ends. No one will be wondering what happened to him like the police at the hospital on the main show.

I HATED that they brought Troy back just to kill him he should have lived and went on to one of the spin-offs I was very disappointed. The only thing I liked about this finale is seeing Alycia Debnam Carey return. Whatever glad this dumpster fire is over with.

Ive watched these 2 episodes twice just to fully enjoy it

The one theme throughout this series in this last season has been "it doesn't make sense". Very few things make sense in this series after the first maybe 3 seasons. I kept watching in hopes that it would start but was continuously disappointed.

I'm surprised the show didn't end up with a sanctification ceremony for Alicia.

The one constant: Madison said she was going to kill Troy. She kept saying it.

You know it is bad when the Nocbros aren't feeling it.😂

He basically hinted around that it didn't have to be the last time she see Alicia. Meaning he didn't kill her🤷🏿‍♀️

Awesome characters, horrible writers. This series could’ve went so much better than it did. Thank God Ian and Andrew won’t have their hands in anything else TWD related (I hope)

Troy's death was so dumb and pointless. They made him so soft in the reboot, that he was no threat anymore.

I don't know what I hate more... The fact Madison did the same thing that made me really dislike her back in the first place, or the fact that they actually approved these scripts. Hey, maybe in yet another spin-off, Curtis will show up! When he fell, he was rescued by leprechauns and brought back to health!

Oh this was really really bad lol, the best part was the ending and the cast saying goodbye was sort of emotional but aye I wish em all the best in the long run, I did tho like the fact that when Carol mentioned he's back to Daryl, I believe that's Dwight or Morgan or both. Daryl did say if Dwight came back he would kill him. So negan and Maggie show and Daryl Dixon show could possibly merge into the main show. But there's not a season 12 of twd, so I'm thinking the ending of everything is the Rick and michone show

The only reason I enjoyed these final 2 episodes was knowing I'd get to watch your equally annoyed and frustrated reactions :-)

I actually thought the second half of this season was much better then the first, the opposite of season 7 where the first half was ok, not good but the second half was horrible. Yes, there's some cheesy stuff that don't make sense but at least there was some mystery surrounding what happened to Alicia with Troy. Still a lot of cringe but episode 12 ends pretty well I think to wrap up the season with a surprise return of a loved character and I'm not talking about Alicia. The biggest problem I've had with Fear is the character development is all over the place. I can overlook walkies with no range, frozen walkers where it shouldn't be that cold, and other storylines that just don't add up but the schizophrenia of the characters and who they are changing from what season, or even one episode drives me fuckin nuts. Last season Strand went psycho but this season he just wants to be so good to make up for going psycho and throwing people off roofs.people do deserve a second chance but people dont completely change just like that. The only complaint I really have with the final episode has to do with Madison doing this,what seems like multiple times but I can't go into how without spoiling episodes 12 but she has done kind of personality disorder I think, maybe it's borderline personality disorder but her characters changes at her core like someone changes their mind about their favorite song

@@brandonrichards6938 Well.....................yeah, that's part of why their channel is so succesful. If everyone agrees with you about everything you have a much bigger fanbase. I however am critical towards reactions and reviews and when i think they are dead wrong i will tell them. I will tell them. And i think their taste for Fear was soured and ruined long before season 8. I can just tell by how they are reacting to the episodes. But sadly i have seen this a lot. People are more inclined to hate Fear and don't like it because it is not the original show, which i feel like is totally unfair to compare it like that but by having that mindset it makes it easier for people to bash it, because most people already decided before it started that they are not gonna like it regardless.

You can be as critical as you want. But don't presume that you can actually do a better job than the people who are (were) actually in the trenches making it. And if you do think that: prove me wrong and go make your own Walking Dead or zombie show.

​@@schlock159 I am not going to pretend I know the exact Ins and outs of writing a full show, but you can take the basic plot points and put them in a timeline and realise how dumb fear has been. Now try and make your own plot points for a story and where it would lead and you will see how competent it sounds in comparison. I am not a hater of fear or anything twdu, I am avid praiser of every good part of this and the other shows. I have argued with people about how good fear is(was) for years, season 1-3 slow to start but peak finale. (new writers come in) season 4 is okay, season 5 is bad, but comparing them to season 7 and 8 they are amazing, I look back on season 4 and 5 now and think where did it all go wrong, at least back then the characters were written.... like their actual characters. Season 6 was amazing. But there is a distinct difference in season 7 and 8 where all characters are reduced to plot devices, everything has to have a motive or a relation to some sort of past event, you can not tell me you liked Strand telling people "he's doing it for Alicia" about 10 times in the last 6 episodes, that's just one example of many. I couldn't help but cringe or laugh at how they talk to each other. I need to make it clear again this isn't me blindly hating the show, nor for a significant amount of other people, I would have loved this show to be good, but everything is too convenient or referential in every single scene. It's not the actors, It's not the special effects, it's not the makeup, It's these damn writers Ian and Andrew, they need to take up a job shovelling shit, because that's all they have given us for years. sorry for ranting ( :

I got really frustrated in this last half of the show, LIKE REALLY FRUSTRATED & ANGRY. THE WRITING IS SO BAF & STORYTELLING-WISE ITS MAJORITY SO FREAKING BAD. Its like the writers themselves are even confused of what they are writing. Coming from a pro wrestling fan like myself who has seen bunch of bad storytelling in wrestling, trust me this show tells a worst story than any of vince McMahon's bookings and vince's bookings is one of the worst in wrestling
