I've skipped episodes 7-11 and just watched your reactions. But this finale episode is a 6/10 rating for me. I think the show should have ended on season 7; but still bring Madison back.

Skid mark is the longest living pet in the twd universe

The ending with them deciding to go back to where it all started, hits me in the feels really hard! It's really weird! It's the fact that they are going back to their home, but they don't have all their family members anymore like Eliza, Chris, Travis, and especially Nick! Something about that just really hits me in my soul! It's just so bittersweet!

Again, Skidmark and Daniel reuniting makes this episode a 10/10

There’s not a single thing about this episode that makes it a 10/10. Even the poor ass reveal that Alicia was still alive. (Which everyone knew she would be when they first revealed it) the show runners shouldn’t ever be allowed to direct anything again. Not even a high school play. Worst writing I’ve ever had to suffer through for years now. Should’ve been stopped after season 5 🤬🤬🤬

Just to clarify, Sarah, Wendell, and Rabbi Jacob are still alive and have joined Luciana’s group. Ian & Andrew had plans on bringing them into S8, but due to how short the season was gonna be, they confirmed they’re still alive and are with Luciana and her group clearing roads and establishing outposts.

Can’t believe it’s the end of FTWD !! Thanks so much for all the reactions guys as always… was always my routine - watch the episode then watch your guys reactions !!

You can do a drinking game on how many times someone that was supposed to be a friend point a gun at another. That's why it had to end the way it did, where people who really didn't like each other splitting up and going their separate ways.

I wish they would’ve gave us more of Alicia and Madison together and discussing Nick’s death. I wish that it was more emotional between them. Their reaction was like they only been apart for a few months or something. Loved seeing Daniel reunited with Skidmark. Very disappointed the group didn’t get to see Alicia. I’m glad it’s finished and I’m ready for Rick and Michonne.

Woulda been sick is Al and Isabelle came back at the end and were like “we need there’s a group out there killing people and there’s a man (Rick) starting a revolt will you join us”?

When Strand was telling the story of Madison saving them, the slow motion flashback reminded me of the Sadiq story on TWD. Yes Alicia's back and alive (never doubted it) but my favorite scene was Daniel and Skidmark. Thank you to the both of you for staying true and stating the obvious flaws of this show. I can't wait till we see The One's who Live and your reaction

Thank you for the news about those who died off screen. If there was anything that ticked me off more it was that.

10:56 anybody notice just a few minutes before this they all hated each other and wished they had never met, now they can't go on without each other? I lost count how many times something like this has happened in the final season.

People have disagreements in ideas, nothing new

This show was a literal chore to get through post-season 3. Very sad that they never let the show get good again and recover before killing it. They had 4 seasons in which to fire Ian and Andrew and try and fix it but it was literally way too far gone by the ending. The real Fear ended many years ago. Whatever this variation was finally ended without ever getting good. I have never in the history of television seen a show that was so good get so destroyed. Season 3 was legitimately some peak television from every standpoint, the acting and writing to the filmmaking and gorgeous cinematography. How that show then became quite literally the worst tv series ever made is insane. It went from great to the worst. Can't think of anything else that had SUCH a plummet. Insane what AMC did to this show. I will forever mourn the Fear that we could have had. We will never know what really was going to happen to those characters and what stories we would have had. So upsetting.

The first 3 seasons were some of my favorite of any TV show, definitely had a lot of ups and downs but I'm happy with how they wrapped it all up.

Here it is! The end of the rollercoaster that was FTWD. So many ups and downs (mostly downs) but it’s finally over 😅

Really happy Alicia is alive and back! The way we got there was nonsense but hey, at least they did something right

The showrunners said in their EW interview that they considered having a face to face between Strand, Madision and Alicia at the end but thought this ending was more poignant. That Strand just seeing them from the distance worked better for the conclusion of his story.

They left Madison for dead twice. That little Tracy is a strong one, dug her out of rubble and built a tent and got Madison there and into a cot. I appreciate Ian and Andrew left our people out there so they can rest or return. I balled like a baby when Daniel got Slidmark back.

It wasn't a lie or a ploy by Troy. He had specifically said his right-hand man, Russell, would carry out the attack on Padre in his absence. And Madison killed him before he had a chance to call off the attack, so it went ahead anyways. Pay better attention.

I’m really disappointed in Fear for this last season. Especially this finale. Just seemed corny …walkers hugging and not biting…the dialogue…the reasoning behind alot of things. ITS JUST NOT THE MAIN SHOW😅….AND IF I HEAR “ ITS WHAT ALICIA WANTED “. ITS WHAT ALICIA WOULD HAVE DONE ONE MORE TIME 😂😂😂

If I had a nickel every time a little girl shot a main character on this show (Charlie shot and killed Nick, Dakoda shot and killed John, and now Tracy shot Madison) I’d have 15 cents, which isn’t a lot but it is odd how it’s happened 3 times on this show. Kind of sad to see the show end, as I really do care for a lot of these characters, but the show has suffered from horrific plot points and even worse writing over the last couple seasons. I’m just glad that our characters end up on a good note with each other, and was happily excited when Daniel reunited with Skidmark, and Madison with Alicia.

Wait... So Alicia essentially survived the bite though right? And radiation poisoning? Ah well.

Scattered thoughts: Okay actual finale and ending of the PADRE storyline was meh but imo the only way to save the finale was to reunite the Clarks and wow - that was good. I’m happy we didn’t get any major deaths (apart from Troy) and I’m very happy that our gang got for the most part happy endings. Now for the Clarks: oh my God. I’m extremely over the moon. Yes it could be a cheap way to make fans happy just to reunite Alicia and Madison, but it was perfect (and needed, lol) in my opinion. LOVED the fakeout with Alicia being Tracy’s mum lol especially after all the speculation and annoyance that this was the case. LOVED the Clark’s going home and not reuniting with the rest of the crew. Would it have been nice to have Alicia reunite with Strand and co? Yeah. But I really don’t think it was needed. Plus, Madison said one day they’ll come a day when they’ll need her so they’ll definitely see each other again! Side note but ADC looked PHENOMENAL and it’s so nice to see her healthy lol. LOVED Dwight and Sherry ending together. LOVED that there was no Morgan. I know a lot of people didn’t want Troy to die but I’m not too fussed honestly. I think him being redeemed was more unrealistic than the other option. Overall a very good finale. 9/10. Bitter sweet to see this show go but it’s definitely time. Please don’t flood this comment with hate. I understand some people really dislike the writing etc (myself included), but this episode was done well. Happy Alicia Clark Day to those who celebrate! ALSO! Dwight and Sherry going back to Sanctuary and Alexandria area maybe explains who Carol said ‘came back’. I’ve said it from the start I think it’s Dwight because Daryl was the one to exile him, so Carol was probably letting him know that Dwight is back!

It’s over, it’s finally over! LFG! Madison surviving because she had a mag protecting her is insane. Also, how did she survive the explosion… again? Insane lmao. Dwight and Sherry going back to sanctuary makes me believe they’ll end up on dead city. Now y’all can react and discuss the new teaser for The Ones Who Live.

Just finished watching this episode myself and it was a 10/10 finale (all because of skidmark and Daniels reunion)

Yassssssss. So ready for your final thoughts on this. What a crazy ride!! Glad to have shared part of this journey with you guys. This is kinda sad bc even though we have the spin offs, they are all 6 episode seasons and I fear none of them will go longer than two seasons. Feels like the beginning of the actual end. So scared Rick or Michonne will be dead in the end.

You guys are still saying Alicia gave the kid to Troy. That’s not what he said. He said he took the child from her. Obviously now we know that was a lie.

Daniel + Skidmark = TEARS OF JOY. Also, I think that at the end of Daryl Dixon, Carol was trying to tell Daryl that "Dwight came back", or maybe "Dwight & Sherry came back". Guess we'll see next year. I will also point out that I saw an interview where Lennie James, Jenna Elfman, Christine Evangelista, and Austin Amelio all made a point of saying they would go anywhere within the TWDU that the producers wanted to send them. So I believe in the Crossover show.

The last two seasons of this show have made Z nation look brilliant 😂😂😂

I want a scene between Daryl and Dwight when he comes back where Dwight tells him everything he went through since he left. Basically just a synopsis of all the FTWD seasons and Daryl telling him that sounds stupid.

With Dwight going back to the sanctuary could that be what Carol told Darrel on the radio in Darrels spin off?

I actually thought the wrap for Sherry and Dwight was one of the best. Lets be honest, what happened to them will haunt then forever, one look at Dwight is enough. They tried being somewhere else, being seperated, nothing ever worked for them so if you can't escape your past, might as well own it and rewrite the place for a better future that replaces bad memories with good ones. My favorite part btw was Skidmark and Daniel reuinon, I screamed. I still try to make sense of Alicia basically dying on screen, on her own, but now she's all healthy but I don't care anymore what makes sense, I loved the final episode and I am rewatching the whole thing again now XD

Am I the only one who thought Alicias entrance felt very Luke Skywalker ish lmao. Hood up, Crazy return. Even the way she took it off lmao.

The name Tracy is an Easter Egg from season 3 Troy named his daughter after his Mother

Im so excited for y9ur guys reaction, i was bawling at so many points throighout this episode and tho8ght it was good despite some of yhe issues i liked it overall and the moment that got me like ugly crying was Strands goodbye to Madison. You could feel that moment and their connection to eachother and just showed how amazing of an actor Coleman is!!

I think Dwight and Sherry’s exit to the Sanctuary was cool only because it brings them back closer to our people and leaves the door open for Alexandria/Commonwealth to interact with them again in other spin-offs. Who knows, maybe Negan comes across them again one day 👀😩

One of my biggest problems with FTWD is that we need to watch other shows (Talking dead), closer looks or read interviews to know what happened to some characters.

Pretty good finale! I'm actually satisfied with the Alicia/Madison and Alicia/Strand reunion, though it doesn't really make sense those three wouldn't all travel together to LA with their families- they are truly all each other have left and they have such a strong connection. I can't imagine they'd be ok with never seeing each other again. Oh - Troy said he took Alicia's baby, not that she gave them up willingly - but I'm sure you realize this by now.

ADC always coming back at the finale, same for The 100 😄

I don’t get Dwight & Sherri going back to the Sanctuary either but perhaps it’s just a way to link them into the next season of Dead City 🤷🏻‍♀️ This super quick weird reunion for Madison & Alicia feels like it’s just to leave a thread of a chance for them to get a spin off I’m relieved they did give us some kind of reunion between them but I found it really unsatisfying. All of our original characters should have been involved in the reunion before they went their separate ways

The only thing I really liked was Victor and Madison saying goodbye to eachother by the garage. Very emotional and Alicia coming back. That's it

Well there we go,a mixed back of emotions but over very quickly in the end. It's not the ending i had hoped for and it sort of fell flat but there we have it. Good to see skidmark and Daniel reunited it made my day.

I know it’s a hot take: but even though season 8 was the messiest and weakest season, I actually think S8B was significantly better than S8A. And I really enjoyed the final episode. It left me feeling hopeful for the characters and grateful for the show!

I think the actress that play Alisha should have shown a little more emotion when finding out her mother was still alive. It was like...Oh mom, you're alive. Then hug... lol wtf

The acting overall on this show is garbage

It wasn’t always good but it was more walking dead content and I’m sad to see it over. It also leaves me excited for what will take it’s place though

As someone who grew up with Fear the Walking Dead and have stuck around since the beginning, I'm happy with how it ended. Ever since they announced Madison would be returning, all I wanted to see was Madison and Alicia reunite and they finally did and I'm satisfied. This for sure wasn't the best season or greatest finale, but I still really enjoyed what they brought and I'm happy to see where things ended as a fan. TWD finale, I know, not everyone liked but I still loved it and I loved this finale also.

Fear is so bad about cutting visuals and explaining what happened through dialogue. I’m glad they brought Alicia back, but I’m glad this series is over. I just watched too much of it to give up on it before the final two seasons.

Alecia didn't ask Troy to take her daughter. Troy specifically says he took Tracy from Alecia to make up for what he believes Alecia took from him. I don't understand how you ever came up with her willingly giving up her daughter. He stole her daughter and then (supposedly) murdered her. The rest of the stuff you guys said I agree with. I'm just honestly baffled as to how you thought she gave up her daughter willing? Alecia as a character would never do something like that. She takes family and loyalty way too seriously to ever hand over her own child to anyone, let alone a psychopath like Troy Otto.

Allright: i'm gonna defend the crap out of this episode guys !!. To me it made sense that we didn't get a reunion between Strand & Alicia. I loved the moment where he sees he but doesn't run up to her to hugs and kisses. He knows she's alive, he has fully redeemed himself, he has a new family and now he is ready and can move on & start over for real. I love the group splitting up. Everyone gets a happy ending and can move on. And though they won't be together as a group, they always have each other in their hearts. June has a new daughter figure in Odessa, Daniel has Skidmark & Luciana etc. Dwight & Sherry moving to the Sanctuary DOES make sense guys. Yes, it will remember them of Negan BUT because of that they know exactly what place they DON'T want it to be. So they will probably make it a better place than anyone else. I LOVED how Madison ended Padre in the same way as she did with the Stadium, only ending but being succesful now. I even loved the group NOT knowing that Madison was alive. Like Madison said: They don't need her or a leader anymore. They can take care of themselves clearly. And i loved Madison, Alicia & Tracy going back to Los Angeles to help people. Also, this show actually did something the original show wasn't able to pull off. It actually managed to bring things full circle and gave us reunions instead of dick-teasing us with more spin-offs in order to advertise Rick freakin Grimes.

The actors gave it their all for the stuff they were given and i hope we see all of them again. Strand does have the chance to become a CRM helicopter pilot becuase i still think thats his voice we hear. Kinda cool that Dwight took on a leader role though.

Madison and Alicia agreed that its better if people think their dead and Nobody can find Tracy which make people thinks she's dead🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️ Only Strain knows them 3 are alive.

I think they should do a spin off of just 6 or 10 episodes focused on madison and tracy maybe Alicia 5 years after fear back at LA with a growing community walled of two blocks off streets little like Alexandria and Just have the show be set in LA and have the antagonists be the Proctors from season 3 how they should of been in season 4 but werent be cool to see.

I'm sorry not even Felicia and Salizar's cat was enough to fix this train wreck of a show.
