this entire performance, every line she said was written for her ahead of time - this interview was SO STAGED as a PR goodwill stunt, but still one of my #1 favorite Mo appearences of all time! her hair looks GORGEOUS almost like she's in the middle of a dye-job and it's up in curlers

sucks if it was written for her cuz tupac dumped her disgusting self over it.. she is rehabilitaing rappers.. when he is the only rapper he knew her to be with or around,, what she means is she is sleeping with multiple black men... she is so disgusting.

BLESS YOU for uploading this! watching it just made my day :) I saw this live when it aired on NBC 27 years ago (!) and managed to tape all but the first :30 seconds on my little VCR at home :p I think this was only a day or two AFTER the infamous "F-word" appearence she had on David Letterman, so her publicity team obviously pushed this Leno appearence to neutralize that

Because this wasn't supposed to be a full-on "official" interview, nor was it planned to be one. It was a last-minute, staged PR stunt where she'd do a very brief walk-on appearence and NOT a proper sit-down interview. Believe me, every move, every line, every question, and every answer you see her was tightly choreographed ahead of time *lol*

Madonna haters always “create” flaws even when she’s at her best. I once read that Madonna’s singing on Evita wasn’t great (when that was her best singing even). Other said that she looked bad on Like A Virgin era (when she was the sexiest celebrity at the time). Others said that Madonna is evil, egoistical and rude off-camera (when you always find a nice and sincere woman in her interviews). Maybe they are confuing her with Ellen on that one. Lol

Interesting how tall Madonna looks. I never thought of her being short, until recently. Now she looks tiny, and stubby. I think she's shrunk.

She's not even 5'5, more like 5'3. I have seen her several times in concert, three of those times I was on the front row. She has always been petite; however, at times, she was extremely sinewy, just too thin. I think her most beautiful body was in the mid 80s, or after she had Lourdes.

This appearence was a PR move pushed by Madonna's publicity team to help rehabilitate her negative image after the disasterous David Letterman interview from a few days earlier. The entire nation (world?) thought Madonna was a trashy, gutter-mouthed, loose canon, so this "surprise" walk-on appearence was meant to smooth things over with her image, make her more likeable again to the American public.
