Lynnwood has launched its first ever graffiti abatement program to deal with an ongoing crime that can be costly in both time and money for property owners to remove.
The graffiti cleanup program began a week and a half ago and after city officials realized there needed to be another approach to this prevalent issue.
The program could benefit Star Fruits & Vegetables, a mainstay in Lynnwood for more than two decades. Customers who showed up to this popular produce market found it covered in graffiti on Wednesday.
