Lure fishing for Pollack & Mackerel from the rocks | Sea Fishing UK

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

An excellent day lure fishing from the rocks. Catching Mackerel and my personal best Pollack so far this year.
In this video I show you how to fish a metal lure from the rocks using the count down technique to catch pollock and mackerel.
I kept the pollock for the pan and shallow pan fried it to have with chips and mushy peas a classic English dish.
The lure I was fishing with was a 60g Razorclaw Silver Minnow.

I usually take the lighter rod and 28g but for some reason decided to take the heavier rod and spinners, glad I did now think I would have struggled to get it in with the lighter rod but it would have been an excellent fight.

It's only since Rick Stein and the demise of white fish like Cod Haddock whiting are people eating Pollock. I Respect pollock more as a sports fish than how it tastes which is pretty awful.
