Professional and NCAA are two different Level. In the past , players drafted from NCAA( High pick list) can be performed in not bad level in NBA for sort of majority. But nowaday , even the pick 1 from NCAA , they're still difficult to adapt the rythm of NBA in terma of majorty than in the past.

Luka is already one of the all-time greats at age 23 - which is nutz. The only player with comparable stats @ age 23 is Bron. No one else comes close. However there is a monstrous wall of rock between Luka and this year's MVP - Mt. Steph! BTW, Luka, for his size is fast and athletic - he chooses to set the tempo, and he is so big and solid (pundits who call him soft are goofy) that defenders can't dispossess him if he comes to a halt.

Those post up moves remind me of Kobe. Yeah, I know Booker made that comparison cringe to look at, but Kobe used to love the post into some spin moves, high usage, high volume of 3's with barely average porcent, Luka is balling like Kobe.

Although, I usually find coach's analysis extremely accurate, this time I have to disagree somewhat on the stats part. Sure the stats shown are in favor to Luka but... only barely to Giannis (33.6-31.8ppg, 7.9-5.3apg, 2.0-1.1spg). On top of that Giannis has (naturally) ridiculously higher numbers in rebounds (8.3-12.2rpg) and is still higher in blocks (0.6-1.4), while playing 4 minutes less (36.8-32.8), being more efficiently than Luka. And Steph is more efficient than both of them!!! So, yeah... Luka is extremely good from the start and Eurobasket helped, him posting is a very effective tactic (although in Europe, I suspect that if done so frequently teams would use an extra SF just to guard him), but there are still players with comparable numbers with him, playing less than Luka. Finally, one thing about coach Kidd: he really likes to shuffle positions to his stars (playing Giannis as playmaker and now Luka more like a forward), if there is the slightest possibility of gaining an advantage. I surely respect him much about this.

Steph has the better numbers now. 34/7/7 on 53/44/91 are video game numbers, while both Giannis and Luka shoot in the 20s in 3PT% and 70s in FT%. I think Coach made this video before the 2 game slump by Luka but just added those 2 games later in the edit. That's how it sounds in the video. For me, it goes: 1. Steph 2. Giannis 3. Luka

Might be worth getting that ex NBA ref back on the channel. That Warriors v Cavs game was baffling. Especially the Mitchell rolled ankle that was called a Draymond foul, challenged, and maintained, with Kerr even saying postgame that he knew it wouldn't be reversed, which is bizarre in itself.

Luka's slow, fast, change position style is just beautiful. It's a mastery of finesse basketball that the NBA isn't familiar with, where players expect speed and athletic ability all the time. I have doubts that the Mavs can maintain this heavy reliance on Luka's minutes and production.
