I love the shift ball that MGW sells with their short throw shifters. It’s the perfect size.

i have seen the shaft of the throttle body move (cause sticking issues ) on bbk and my Holley 58 mm . i drill and pined the shaft and linkage

My BBK alway stuck since 2011 when i got it but it wasnt TOO bad just FBO. Then when i did LE HCI and 24x (EFICONNECTIONS) Etc. It got REALLY bad while we where in middle of tuning my car. Thing started getting stuck at like 30-50% or so. Made me look like a real jackass that last day at the gas station 😂 that was the final straw. AS&M was thankfully on its way by then. It still doesnt settle down instantaneously like id prefer it too, but its so much better and it does zero out. I cannot recommend BBK tb for these engines unless just FBO and even at that point why bother until HCI or around 400WHP or so. Only reason why i had it at FBO was because i knew id go further with the car and its such an easy install. Unless you get it cheap used to test out id only reccomend a quality TB like the as&m unit. Also brandon FWIW with my BBK prior to it getting really bad every time it got stuck id just have to "blip" the throttle and it would settle down.

How would it have the opti spark but not use the optical sensor, is that better for high rpm?

It utilizes the factory 96/97 crank sensor for its trigger.

Hi my name is Eric and watch all yiur vids. I have a 94 6 speed Corvette and was wondering what in order would be my best bamg for the buck at home upgrades i could do? The car is a 55,000 mile un molested , polo green and really love it but want to make some improvements and you as far as i know along with Ellwein and Rippie are the most knowledgeable, if i were closer id bring it to you but am in Minnesota. Would love to hear what youd do on lets say less than 2000$ budget. Thanks much and ill keep watching the channel

Thanks, kind of what I was thinking. Does a 160 thermostat everyone talks about a good little mod? Would the fuel pump need an upgrade with the heads, cam, injectors?

An ly6 6.0 and a TKX 5spd. Cam and springs. Everybody that loves their lt1 goes to bed wanting an ls motor. But let's do the math Lt1 price list Cam and lifters $850 3 3/4 in forged crank $850 Forged pistons $850 + Rings bearings and gaskets $$$ Heads that do work $2500 Replace the opticrap $2500 Drop out ly6 $2500 Tremec TKX complete kit $5000 Cam 179 bucks, no shit
