A while back I replaced a right rear height sensor on my Land Rover Discovery 3. In the process I broke the electrical connector to the height sensor

Fortunately a spare connector plug/harness is available. YMQ503220 is the part number you want to look for if you need to replace yours. They are not difficult to repair, just make sure either your crimp or solder is done correctly and heat shrink the join with quality heat shrink.

When you changed out the height sensor did you have to recalibrate the height? I replaced the left front sensor and now there is a suspension fault and the display screens shows that wheel being all the way to the bottom but actually the height is about normal. Any suggestions?

yes i did recalibrate. A fault code read would tell you whats going on a bit more, but i would say the calibration is out of whack at that corner
Is it possible one of the pins did not make proper contact?

do you have a decent scan tool like a Gap diagnostic IID?
please concider making a video on your thoughts on updating software to car with iid gap tool. I am stuck at how to execute flash update file.

@@Shanes_Shed gap tool shows a few things that have updated files. I read some say if it isn't broken don't mess with it. I'm thinking the had to be reason for the new file. The one I would try would be the instrument panel. Less so the engine stuff.

Yeah I kinda agree with if it isnt broken don't mess with it. I believe gap will charge a fee for each update you use.
