Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites. All I can say is that I cannot imagine Lovebites without Asami. They’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene and Asami is one of the things that sets them apart.

Hands down, this is the greatest metal band on the planet right now. Why they don't have millions of fans (maybe they do, but it isn't represented on YT) is beyond me. If they came out in the 80s or 90s with stuff like they have in their current catalog - even the 90s - they'd be legendary and everyone would know them. They're already legendary in my book. My favorite metal band. I think it is an unfortunate time n music though where metal is a bit niche, guitar solos are rare, and this isn't radio music anymore. Doesn't mean they still can't be huge. They need to get on a big ticket like Metallica, open for them and tour with them. Get known by a larger audience. I would legit go to that show though just to see Lovebites lol. Seriously. With a couple of young kids though, I am not even sure if a world tour of that scale is their goal anymore, and who else could they tour with that they wouldn't blow off the stage? Granted, there will always be those who prefer a male vocalist, no vibrato, style things like that. I hope you continue to check out more of their catalog. They are better live. As good as this is, I cannot wait for the DVD of one of the shows in March when they perfromed some of these newer songs. You're still really early in assessing what they can do. You should check out a couple of their masterpieces like Swan Song (with the Chopin intro) and Frozen Serenade, the "E" songs, Break the Wall and Thunder Vengeance, both of those from Zepp 2020.

Listen to "Edge of the World" or "A Frozen Serenade", both of which have live videos with lyrics, to see Asami in a totally different way. I for one would likely not be a fan without her fronting the group.

I caution using the word replaceable. There have been bands, great ones, that have changed lead singers and did fine, like Van Halen and AC/DC. I do not think Asami is replaceable at all. She is the anti-metal/metal blended lead singer, and that's a huge part to Lovebites. Just my .02.

Yeah, it was Philly in the previous video who said that and referenced it again. I agree that Lovebites without Asami is no longer Lovebites. A completely different band that I suspect I would like less, at the very least. They need to hear some of the "E" songs, as well as probably Swan Song and Frozen Serenade - the "E" songs to hear her R&B toots in those beginning parts of those songs, the other two with lyrics (lyrics for Empty Day Dream and Edge of the Wold especially, also) to sort of see how that fits with Asami, and how no one else would write or sing those the same way as she does.

I probably would not love this band as much without ASAMI., I was heartbroken with the loss of MIHO but low and behold and fate has it., FAMI stepped in and blew me away but losing ASAMI would be a stake in our hearts ., She isnt TAYLOR SWIFT or MADONNA but then I never cared to listen to that pop crap anyways...ASAMI is essential and unique that makes this band one the greatest in the world... 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

If you make a misjudgement, admit it. To suggest Asami’s voice is the only part of the musical equation that is easy to replace is, frankly, laughable. The vast majority of bands are defined by their vocalist…Queen, Rush, Stereophonics, The Cranberries, Metallica, Judas Priest….I could go on and on. Don’t double down on a statement when it’s patently ridiculous. Ok, apart from that, thank you for reacting to the band, because it’s reactions that pushed their KZread channel over 100k subscribers today…after sitting at 65k for two years.

Music excellent but not the vocals. Video was good but didn't liked how they constantly switched back and forth from the band to the video.

No one in the World can sing like Asami! The tone isn't imitable and in the 7 years there aren't cover of this group, impossible for the speed, tempo, large range, vocal power and skills on guitars and now the is also a new bassist (FAMI) a prodigy of bass! The quality is not invented!

Asami's powerful mid-to-high mezzo-soprano range soars above LOVEBITES' very fast-paced and heavy riffs/licks with ease in order to make the tracks sound melodic. Not many singers have the ability to do that. As such, Asami is a PERFECT fit and critical to the band.
