Yes, this is always the positive effect of Lovebites, LoLo. Meaning they make us happy and believe the brighter future.

Yes sirrrr... These ladies are 🤘 You got to check their new stuff 'Dissonance'... More slayin' than this one Yeah..that will be awesome if lovebites could be tour with lamb of god someday.. (You know how wolfpack, right sir ?)

I'll say this, although Babymetal are not my cup of tea, they did lead me down the path of discovery , where I found LOVEBITES and Unlucky Morpheus two bands I absolutely love. For that I am eternally Grateful and wish them all the success in the world. 🐺

Same with me. Babymetal are interesting and entertaining, but they are not a "real" band. Anyway, Babymetal led me to Lovebites which has since become my favourite band.

Bloody Lovebites 🐺 I love'em

The most happening music scene on the planet at the moment for Rock and Metal is out of Japan. Thank you very much Babymetal for bringing the eyes of the west onto Japanese music. The number of simply great bands I've found renewed my interest in music. It is awesome to once again look forward to new albums and new tours of bands in their prime performing new music.

Found Band Maid first, then Lovebites and onwards to Nemophila. Can't get into BabyMetal and yet enjoy the Kari band. So many talented female musicians. Asterism with Hal Ca, Gacharic Spin, and the grandmothers of them all, Show Ya.

Sorry Patrick. I like Baby Metal, but they aren't even close to the level of pure talent of Lovebites, including Kami Band. Five ladies, all virtuosos at their craft. Let them tour with Lamb of God? Lamb of God should tour with Lovebites 😂. Megadeth now should open for Lovebites. I'd feel sorry for any band that would have to follow Lovebites. It's just not fair. You need to check out their newest release (audio only), "Dissonance". Thrash in a way only Lovebites could do.

I am waiting to see the band brave enough or who has the humility to want to play in the same concert space as LOVEBITES. It's like playing one on one with Michael Jordan in his prime. You may think you're good, but we all know what the end results will be. This isn't American Idol. 😄😄

You're comparing apples to oranges. You can't. You have to compare apples to other apples and oranges to other oranges. Rate them and see who has the higher score. That means take a look at how many girls want to be Idols. How many succeed. Their talent compared to their peers. Their success compared to their peers. Remember that the female idol category is the most competitive in the Japanese entertainment industry. Than do the same for female musicians.Give them both a number and compare. If your honest about it I guarantee you'll see that BABYMETAL is more talented. But what you're really saying is the you like LB'S better because they can play fast right? They have a great drummer and bassist (who's 6 times more popular than they are) and 2 elite guitarists who pack a 1,2 punch that probably tops any band in the world. Where they fall short is in songwriting. If they want to be more successful. Success is important when rating bands against each other. Because that's why they're playing in front of people. Anyway you should listen to Japanese musicianship in other genres. Japan rules.

Benn listening to metal for over 50 years (1971 and Zeppelin started my journey) so I have formulated my opinion based on what I hear, that's all. I've listened to a ton of Japanese metal and rock, and they are the mecca of current metal talent. To me, Lovebites has no equal, and not much more I can say about my opinion. You think songwriting is a weakness of Lovebites. I can pretty much stop the conversation then, because I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement, and really won't bother convincing you otherwise.

@@jefffromchicago6321 Speaking as a Lovebites fan, I (and most others) don't like them because they play fast, we like them because they play well. There's a difference. Plenty of people can play fast, but what they play is not good. Lovebites don't waste a note. Their songwriting is excellent, within the confines of the genre(s) they write in. They don't rely on any gimmicks at all, and say whatever you like about Babymetal, and how talented they are at what they do (and they are), they were still originally sold on a gimmick, and that brought in a lot of fans that they wouldn't have had otherwise. Lovebites are never going to appeal to that demographic. I don't believe that success has anything to do with comparing two different bands. Lovebites is operating in an area where it's much harder to win fans and success. They're doing what they're doing brilliantly well, and building a superb catalogue of music.

You guys are correct there's way more metal out there now then back in the 80s. You just have to look for it. And I mostly look for music now they've Europe and Japan couple bands out of Korea. One of my favorite bands is from India Gary Shen the Chronicles check them out anything of theirs is great. There's some good bands of the United States you just have to look my favorite one right now is gunshine listen to them anything of theirs is good
