This is what is getting me through cancer treatment. The worse it gets, the more this helps. While I like the newer stuff, I keep coming back to this, because it WORKS. The live version with the Kami band, and Mikio Fujioka (RIP) on guitar is better, but for 4 minutes, I am happy. When I finally pass, I want this played at my funeral.

@@dave5161 No. "Gimme Chocolate!!" is just a fun song about a girl who wants to eat chocolate but she worries about her weight. Nothing more. Both Su-metal (the lead singer) and Kobametal (Babymetal's manager/producer) said so in interviews. They never mentioned "eating disorders" or "diets".

@@CousinRoman90 bruh, the other 50 or so unique songs in their discography disagree. Even among BM fans Gimme Chocolate isn't the most definitive Babymetal song, it's the one that got viral. In my opinion Gimme Chocolate is more like the gateway drug to please the masses, their more hardcore stuff lie beyond. Give all their songs a listen you certainly won't be disappointed.
