Lead singer is William (Poogie) Hart Falsetto king with brother Wilbert Hart who is still alive at 77 years old and friend Randy Cain They defined the Romantic Philly sound .William was the main writer of lyrics and arrangements adding soft violins There is so much to say about this group. Thank you for reacting to them they are fantastic. Suggest "Didn't I blow your Mind This Time" and "Ready or Not Here I Come".. This is a group you should read about .As of July 2022 two original members had passed .William Hart lead singer passed in 2022 and randy Cain passed in 2009 at 63.. . I have loved their romantic soul music all these years thank you I've been waiting for this group. Thank you,. don't forget the Stylistics "You Made Me Feel Brand New" and more..

If you like falsetto, react to Little Anthony and the Imperial's "Hurt So Bad" and "Going Out of My Head." Must Listen.

Soul is my favorite genre of music, especially from the 60’s and 70’s. The Delfonics, The Intruders, The Dramatics and from the Motown sound are some of my favorites. Can you please react to Stillwater (Love) by The Four Tops 😊

The most beautiful song. I'm a Philly native so I'm very familiar with the Delfonics. I was lucky to see them in concert with The Stylistics. I'm so glad you chose this song ❤

    G. Q. " I Do Love You " 70s Soul youguys won't be disappointed with this song , the sound along with the soulful voices is just amazing. Took me at least a decade to find out who was the band's name and once I did I never forgot it. This channel is awsome cuz there's so many groovy artists from the best decades, and their music is being showcased here thanks everyone.

Top choice. The Delfonics were amazing. If you liked this super smooth soul that hit the music world when it expolded out of Philadelphia then you NEED to listen to Blue Magic "Whats come over me" is a great start point. Then listen to the greatest falcetto of all time Eddie Holman "My mind keeps telling me" so smooth. Then if you really want to dig deep check out The Controllers, 'Someones gotta win' if you dare. Love watching you guys. Have a great Christmas.

Back when I was a teenager, this was one of the songs we slow danced to. (Nothing like being held by your sweetheart to this song!) No offence to the music you have today, but we really had the BEST! So much feeling in the words and the melody. And the vocals were on spot! We were so blessed to have these singers.....❤❤❤
