From another angle you are right, while on the other hand we can never know people my dear. Nomater how much we think we know. This includes our friends, siblings and families . Only God understands the nature and heart of humanity. Again, there are circumstantial situations that reveal the nature of evil that lives in us when we are pushed to the limits. We inherited this sinful nature from the first man.. We all have evil that lives in us it manifests in one way or the other. It is just waiting to be awakened. Therefore, no-one is good or perfect. The difference is just that the other group admits to be helpless, and they seek truth and salvation from the Creator who knows us best & understands the heart of man. The other group which is in denial, sadly it will not end well. No science, logic or intellectual explanation can ever understand this.. Hopefully we will all seek the truth in the Gospel. I have found rest in the Lord. I still have unanswered questions, but He has been faithful and I now understamd why there is something wrong in our world. The fall..

I was listening to a case not to long ago where a mother shot her husband because he was hurting their son….& thankfully she wasn’t charged. After the investigation, the cops & DA determined it was self defense on behalf of her child.

It's shocking that poisoning like this occurs more often than we average folk can fathom. Medical staff at hospitals need to be more in tune: if a patient, like Angela, exhibits these types of symptoms, and typical initial treatment is proven ineffective, the possibility of poisoning must be strongly and immediately considered, and urgent action taken, instead of simple monitoring, scratching of the head or waiting for autopsy results. *AND FAMILY MEMBERS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO BRING IN OUTSIDE FOOD, OR BE LEFT ALONE WITH THE PATIENT!!!*

Very true..they cannot search individuals. But..when a patient becomes stable..then she suddenly starts crashing? Look.. the nurses stations are positioned to be able to see whoever comes into there dept. I'd doesn't take a genius to put it together. Several times..she's fine an stable..husband shows up ALONE..she suddenly crashes. Stable patients with no underlying illnesses do not just crash for no reason.

They are not there to “protect” the criminals. They are there to make sure that the sentencing would be right and just. They don’t grow much attachment to the perpetrators. They don’t wake up thinking they are “protecting someone” They are there to make sure that the amount of evidence against the suspect is accurate. His defense attorney: "It's perfectly legal for him to buy cyanide" Yeah, that's not really the point. It's what he did with it, and why he needed to buy it. Also defense attorney: "They (investigators) decided from the git-go that it must be poison. They didn't look for something else." Right. Maybe that was because she died in a hospital and her blood had lethal levels of cyanide. What else should they have been looking for? It must be rough being a defense attorney... having to work so hard to create an alternate reality and then try to convince a jury while keeping a straight face.

That dentist, gosh, I was so angry watching this🤬What a diabolical beast would do this to another human being, let alone the mother of his children? You have to be pure evil to watch someone become violently ill and waste away before your eyes and to keep on administering the poison! This is so demonic it makes my blood run cold!

Each of these 3 cases is pretty horrific in their own right and the evil dentist took away the mother of his SIX kids in the cruelest way imaginable, all while pretending to be the doting husband. Honestly, I don’t know how he had the time to juggle all that he was up to… a master of disguise, running a dental practice, being a father to six kids, having an affair and poisoning his wife and tending to her at every turn. I don’t have any words yo describe that kind of evil. Definitely a big SMH 🤦‍♀️ case. And people like this actually think they will get away with it. Please make it stop ✋🏻🛑😫

I audibly gasped when I saw that the state of New York paid Viktoria a third of a million dollars. I cant imagine what her victims are feeling. Always more details in these episodes than what we get when these crimes first get reported in media... didn't even know there was a podcast from one of his patients!

My ex-husband and I owned a popular upscale restaurant and our customers… our staff… our purveyors…would say the same thing about us… they’re so cute together… they’re so in love… what a beautiful family and such devoted parents. There was a time when all of these statements were true… then it was a facade… and none of the people previously mentioned could tell when it stopped being true. We had a business to run and we couldn’t our personal life get in the way. It’s called BEING PROFESSIONAL!

But looks like even his wife had no clue her husband was having an affair, the private messages between them were all these lovy dovy expressions of love. So it’s not like they would have disagreements at home and then play a happy couple on the outside. So not quite the same. My opinion is she was one of those wives who are clueless and can’t see the subtle undercurrents, maybe too busy running the business and not seeing your spouse is not a happy camper.

Good point about the mother. Apparently she had a flat/house mate who ended up dead(overdose). Guess who inherited that woman's property. If you guessed Khouri's mother you'd be right. Also the witness tampering that Khouri has done while in jail never seems to end. Her mother takes orders over the taped interactions by phone and jailhouse visits. She is so stupid.

This woman's symptoms went on for two weeks! No one considered poisoning? While her husband continued to bring her food each time she wound up in the hospital????? I am not blaming the hospital staff in this instance, but these kinds of stories should now be on the forefront of treatments.

Skye Lazaro is always defending murders and very happy about that. Her website describes her as a Justice Criminal Lawyer and she should definitely drop the Justice. I just don’t understand I guess it’s all about making that money even if it means turning the murders lose 😢

I can’t imagine sitting next to someone who killed an innocent spouse and straight lying for them. A defense attorney doesn’t have to blatantly lie to defend their clients.

That Lawyer who's being interviewed by the show for her "expertise" needs to have her head and law license examined. Everything Jim did on its own may be able to be looked at as benign, but ALL those things put together? Ma'am he's guilty. These defense lawyers are not doing their clients any service by being delusional right along with them, cause any jury viewing the evidence is going to vote guilty. 😒

It should be. You can sue people for emotional distress in a civil suit. Not many things cause emotional (and often financial) distress to a person and their children like the betrayal from a cheating spouse.

I am surprised she didn’t connect the dots though like every time my husband feeds me something i get sick. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out but i think she was oblivious to other signs of him being unfaithful for example. She strikes me us one of those wives who ignore all the red flags and keeps pretending everything is ok.

“He’s a dentist, not a murderer come on” well that’s a pretty convincing argument to me, case dismissed.

Wow it is so surprising how much things & people have changed (or maybe just more of them) since the 70s, the amount of material true crime channels have to show is unbelievable, which is so sad. People like this guy, that on the outside seems so good, loving husband, father & also in debt & even though his wife is beautiful inside & out & raised his children, gave him love, he doesn’t care, he needs her life insurance! Understandably, you must have a specific type of poison in order to conduct testing, however in a medical setting such as a hospital wouldn’t there be a monitory testing of the most 5 common types of poisons to test ? Especially when a patient is continuing to have a severe medical emergency to survival? There’s needs to be a new law of mandatory testing especially when symptoms exceed failure to respond to life saving procedures . ☠️

Ikr? Not sure why but she (the defense attorney) Skye Lazaro seems evil/creepy to me. She also defended Cori Ritchens who also "poisoned " her spouse... it's pretty gross! And Skye's defense 'tactic' was the same in that case too
