This is probably one of those shows that will always feel like it's way ahead of its time which felt like a mixture of all kinds of emotions packed together. It makes you laugh out of loud and then instantly make you sad and think about life in general and the choices we make and why we make them. Will forever be grateful to Louis CK who hasn't just brought the most laughs out of me but also for being a philosopher who got me through the toughest of times. "Misery is wasted on the miserable" I'll always remember this quote.
@g00zik9710 ай бұрын
i remember i binged the show somewhere about 4-5 years ago and it was a very surreal experience, at first the show seems just like an another lame 'funny show!!!' composed of sketches, but it evolves into something much more profound than you could expect, while getting more and more funny. also the random bits like switching the homeless man are just out of this world. truly a masterpiece.

I remember that scene 😂 also when Louie went to a DVD store and some employee fucks with him, he checked the cctv just to see on the video with the weird looking himself it represents perfectly how I hated to see myself in a live demo of cctv 😂

to this day i don't know why but the timing, the intonation, the whole tiny scene with the therapist saying..."Do you think it's because you're fat" makes me bust out laughing no matter what. I can't explain it fully. A lot of Louie the show was like that, it has moments I randomly think of and start laughing. Love the show. Louie really left his mark with that show. It represents the unseen man with all of the tragic and hilarious slice of life stories, mixed with the absurdities of life in NYC. He gave his friends and fellow comics roles, and even threw Anthony Cumia a bone to play the morning disc jockey @ 15:02. I adore Pamela Adlon too and Louie and his television projects were the first time I remember seeing her onscreen in Lucky Louie. He was also the Executive Producer for Better Things, so you know he doesn't forget his friends and helps them out however he can. Louis CK is the George Carlin of his generation, and I am so glad to have seen his vast body of work including this incredibly funny and surprisingly poignant TV series. Thanks, Larone! Cheers!!

It makes you laugh out of loud and then instantly make you sad and think about life in general and the choices we make and why we make them. Will forever be grateful to Louis CK who hasn't just brought the most laughs out of me but also for being a philosopher who got me through the toughest of times. "Misery is wasted on the miserable" I'll always remember this quote.
i remember i binged the show somewhere about 4-5 years ago and it was a very surreal experience, at first the show seems just like an another lame 'funny show!!!' composed of sketches, but it evolves into something much more profound than you could expect, while getting more and more funny. also the random bits like switching the homeless man are just out of this world. truly a masterpiece.

Like the episode where his kid's doll arrives with its eyes messed up and he goes berserk trying to repair it

I miss this show. So happy Louie made a comeback recently
That stretch of episodes where he's trying to get the late night show was incredible TV.
you know one of my absolute favorite things about this show was how louie never tried to portray himself as a cool guy. he's often the most awkward least informed person in the scene lol, and he plays those moments perfectly!

Cheers!!

This entire show is brilliant but Gervais makes me laugh hysterically as the doctor.

I cant stop laughing. Tis show was so funny how he made everyone talk crap to him. Thanks for sharing
I love at 3:00 the big guy is just screaming the ehole time while looking straight forward. And the llady behind him is grabbing onto him. Perfect.
The military/USO saga in this show is one of my all-time favorite television moments. Funny, heartfelt, totally real…you forget that you’re watching a “show” for basically the whole thing.
Such a great fucking show!

Absolute legend.
His girls are always great. And I swear I've always remembered that standup routine about bursting into flames at the beach since the 80s.
This is great!
The most brilliant show in the history of shows.
Louis keeps reminding me that life is awful. Also quite funny at times.
This show was superb. I became such a fan, I went to see him live. He only charged $20. Louis was so emotionally authentic. I’m so sorry about his downfall and I really hope he’s ok. Wow, he should make a comeback.

Turbulence is my favorite gag. Just every foul word at high volume
Love it.
Thank you Louis
19:35-Seinfeld summed up Louie's whole career 🤣 both comedy gold
one of the best shows out there, but probably not for everyone. loved how unpredictable that show was. It could be hilarious banter and surreal little trips ... or a Lynchian nightmare and a drama about a depressed comedian
Missed this show.
“Do you..think it’s because you’re fat?” I always loved that Louie wrote fat jokes towards himself in his own show. True comic.
That cop scene with Ferris Bueler had me dying 🤣🤣
Definitely a top ten all timer. Fearless.

Louis' version of slapstick is just so fucking funny oh my god
great edit
Ricky was hilarious as that doctor
Thanks for posting these bits of hilarious, self-deprecating loser that is Louis C.K. Just love him, no matter what.
Fact Louis used to open for Larry David stand-up is like Hulk Hogan teaming up with Randy Savage

Amazing job larone
7:10 LMFAO Yeah no no I'm ok. I'm ok. I'VE GOTTA STOP
I loved it when he talked about all the complaining we all do whenever we have to board a plane and fly somewhere. He said that we've lost our appreciation for the miracle of flight. Like he said that he can't understand why we get so pissed that the stewardess won't give us another bag of peanuts. He's all like, "Jesus Christ man. Look at where you are!!! You're sitting in a chair and that chair is in the air. Way up in the air. Isn't that incredible? But all you can think about are peanuts. YOU ARE SITTING IN A CHAIR IN THE AIR!!!" Ha!! LOL!!! Never watched this show besides the bang bang scene. But now Im going to! Never knew so many celebrities went on board being on this show too. Seing Joan Rivers and Saget made me a little sad tho 😢
The heckler at the beginning, it’s the part that follows that was funny.. I love how his friend told him how he blew it with her, and could’ve hooked up with her.
greatest show ever and I love that it never got ruined by big network pricks
just a genius show
His youngest daughter was SO sassy, I loved it. You can see that he didn't know what to do with that sometimes. That kid's got a gift.
This show was genius. On the level of Atlanta.. really different and unique.
The bus driver skit killed me….
the pothead in the apartment ended up playing Lance on the final season of TWD lol
Watchin bobby and louis eat is beautiful 😂
This is probably the best comedy-philosophy series ever produced. It capture very accurate of every feels and details, small things like when Louie walked into a DVD store when he checked a cctv with awkward look of himself in the video recording. Or that awkward moment when he was about to ask Liz to out with him. Everything captured perfectly. I wish it stays for a few more seasons. The 5th one kinda rushed.
