Unlike many in similar circumstances he acknowledged that the allegations were true and apologized. That shows some integrity, and I'll bet it's better to come back from there than if he had gotten all defensive or gone on the attack.

This is the first special I ever pulled out my wallet for. It seems most of it’s on KZread, but I bought it anyway. The fact that our society just disappears problematic people is a damn shame. A person has to be able to apologize and come back. Everyone has fucked up before-it’s just not always public. People are a bunch of hypocrites.

so let me give a timeline for you people...Louis ck releases a special a year ago. Many clips reach the front page of REDDIT but get deleted, due to the "socio political" atmosphere reddit wanted since 2015... This has carried on until literally A FEW DAYS AGO....Look into the reddit censorship, for some odd reason its FINALLY STUCK, reddit will not censor posts for the time being because of some drama in the UK....Flashfoward to now... Reddit gets in legal trouble regarding the censorship or free press and speech...and VWALAH Two days later...That same clip of louis ck talking about what happened becomes the most popular clip on the site....Wow....I hope reddit is a democracy again....So that all of us with dreams to make an audience have a chance again...Reddit should always be a democracy, regardless of its owner.

Louis did a Tour in Europe with this back in 2019 and I was lucky to see him in Kraków, it was hilariously funny, I cried with laughter numerous times. In case You read this Mr. Louis CK - You're the best man! Hope to see you in Poland again!

I love making stupid jokes and making people around me laugh,.. some days i even drram about daring to go up on stage and try to make more of a thing out of it. But then i see a master like this perform and his routine so elegantly and effortlessly around some of the most horrific subjects while manipulating the audience with a sure hand and theres laughter throughout. Im in awe.. especially if you can trace some of the origins from his leaked "special materil" to this.. amazing. Truly one of the greatest and we are lucky to be able to see him perform. :)

It's horrible because even questioning it with rational points can be countered by saying you are a bigot. The problem with metoo was that there was no nuance to the charge, people like Louie were placed in same boat as people like Weinstein when it was completely different situations and magnitude. Same thing is happening to Chappelle now, he is labelled a "transphobe" when his jokes weren't that bad at all. And once that label is put out there, you are discouraged from supporting him or risk being branded a bigot yourself. It saddens me to see this. I believe these people have good intentions but are very misguided.
