Great video. We loved Mexico. We took a list of dentists to check out and ultimately went with one that one of the guys on the street showed us. Really gentle, honest and great prices. We spent just over $1300 with Cynthia Garcia. My wife had a cleaning and a tooth extracted. And I had 5 crowns, 2 root canals, and a cleaning. We estimated based on our past dentist costs it would have been over $7000. I think these guys did a much better job and were really nice. I think the difference is it is all about reputation so they go out of their way to take care of you. You do need to shop around though. One place we went told me I needed 5 root canals and 5 crowns for a cost of $3000. Also funny about shopping. My wife loves to haggle so she loved it.

I really loved Mexico as well. Next winter, I hope to venture a little farther into Mexico perhaps all the down the Baja. You definitely get what I am saying about the savings. I can't imagine that there are any successful dentists in Yuma, AZ with Los Algodones so close. I don't mind a good haggle if I am interested in buying something, but sometimes I just wanted to look in peace and quiet without buying. That rarely was an option. ;) Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. :)

We went in to Nogales Mexico to get our teeth cleaned. Same with the vendors. We may have bought something but did not want to deal with them hassling us. Looks like your food was better than ours! The dental visit was good.

We really liked Los Algodones. We went there 3 different times while we were in the Yuma, AZ area this last winter. We loved the food. By far the best tacos I have ever had. We can't wait to go back again and this time I think we might go all the way down to the Baja region of Mexico. Thanks so much for watching and for your comment. :)

Awesome video! Great information about Mexico and how safe it is to go there to do things and purchase prescriptions. We had no idea about the prescriptions. Don’t blame you about being nervous . Thanks for the comment about my hair, but Dean says we never gets comments like that about his hair. lol Our friends from Traveling Pisces also did a video about Los Algodones. They captured the complete process of getting their prescriptions filled at a pharmacy there. It helps to see just how helpful (and english speaking) they are down there. Thanks for the medication info. We are Type 2 diabetics and was wondering how we were going to afford the meds when we won't have company insurance anymore. We experienced the pushy sales people at the different stops on our cruise. Some we gave in to because we were looking for specific items anyway. Great video!

Yes, we did with no real side effects except diarrhea, high fever, chills, bloating, leg cramps, hangnails, puffy eyes, sore throat, and weigh loss. lol (just kidding) We ate it all and there were no ill effects. :)
